I'm probably like most of those people lining up to play, only doing it when there's big money to be won.

It costs barely anything to play and there is that chance, however small, to win a life changing amount of money. It's just a mix of optimism and human nature. The opportunity of getting something for nothing.

I've won $50 at it once. My uncle has seen a guy win $200 million.
I've got goo luck at it, but it is a waste of money.

LOL! 70 mill is a jackpot? That's how much you win from the slots in the grocery store in Nevada...

I don't spend any exorbitant amount of money on the Lottery, since I do realize the odds, but with sheer hope, and imagination, you just think sometimes...that this could be it. You never base your entire life on just winning the lottery, but sometimes you just get a feeling, and sometimes you just think...that tomorrow, when you wake up after the numbers were drawn, and you read them off the website or whatever, and you see your numbers...that everything is going to be alright.

If I were to ever win, the things I would do for my family and friends...the list just goes on and on. If I do play, I try not to think about it, but it would be the most amazing thing ever to win, as I'm sure most of us would agree. I'd ramble on about how much I'd help others with it, but honestly...nobody wants to hear that. Oh well, I'll continue to throw down a dollar or 5 bucks every week for it.

occasionally. A few months back I played Powerball and got every number on one ticket right, but not in the same game. Cracked me up.

No harm in a few bucks gambled, but I wouldn't dream a thing unless I've won.

No, I think it's silly.

Then again, I also think we should just say "Screw the environment" and kill basically everything...
