I only prestiged in MW2 to get the extra emblems and titles. I'm at level 70 on first prestige and I don't intend to prestige till I have everything. I'll be the guy who made it to 10th prestige with everything without hacking... or I'll be the guy that was gonna do that.

In Cod4 - No
In WAW - Yes Twice, great fun
in Mw2 - No, never reached max level, stopped playing for obvious reasons

And in Black Ops I am nearing lvl 50, which really flew by, maybe its just because I am awesome at the game.

But no I wont be prestiging, EVERYONE will be prestiging, why not be different. Anyway I put a lot of work in getting some of the Pro perks, and I am in no rush to get rid of that work. I might try unlock them all and try see how many challenges I can complete. I will probably stop playing soon after that, unless it stays really really good, which I have a feeling it might.

i would totally prestige. except i never play a call of duty game enough. i got to level 30 something in cod4, level 57 in mw2, and am just now starting world at war, currently at level 6, probably get tired of multiplayer long before prestige there too.

but i would. that's the rpg guy in me. i love getting exp and reaching a cap is always painful. with prestige,i can keep on trucking. but i never get there anyway.

I don't even CoD past or prior to 4. On 4 I did not prestige. I find no meaning in holding rank past the point where every multiplayer option had been opened for you, and certainly no meaning in having to repeatedly fight to that level simply to have a couple of symbols next to my tag.

I get my self-confidence from internal factors, not external broadcasts.

No, and I have played the game for 11 days worth of hours. I could easily be 10th prestige by now. It's just not worth it.

I did go into prestige mode in MW2, yes.
Haven't played the game in a while though. Don't think I ever got past first prestige.

No I haven't and don't intend to. The only point I see in doing so is the extra class slots and even then I can just change the loadouts between matches.

Yeah I do, because if you stay n the same level your gona run out of things to upgrade and it will become boring.
This guy, sometimes all that exp ranking up to nothing annoys me, and having all the guns do sometimes too, I allways wanna be working towards the next level (which is why I liked halo 3's level system, even if it was otp)

Yes, I do. Going prestige gives me something to aim for. To me, ranking up is part of the fun in CoD. Sitting around at the max level seems so boring to me. I feel as if I have nothing to strive for. I feel like my kills and points don't mean anything when they aren't going towards ranking up, and thus I feel as if I am wasting my time. I prestige so that I always have something higher to aim for.

Yup. CoD4 I prestiged maybe once. WaW I didn't play multiplayer enough to get there. MW2 I made it to 5th prestige before resuming my attempt to finish SitRep VI. In Black Ops, I'm nearing the end of the second prestige and I'll keep going. It only takes about a day of playtime to do a run through the levels in Black Ops, so I don't see why not.
