Not really the Doctors always had genocide up his sleeve, it's just that number 10 was the most vocal about violence (and often very hypocritical).Temah said:Seems like they're starting to develop and grow the doctor what with him moving from being quite pacifistic and diplomatic to ordering the deaths of House and countless silence, but don't get me wrong, such an iconic character growing is great.
More like a TARDIS (Idris) in a TARDIS (Makeshift) within a TARDIS (9/10th regen control room) within a TARDIS (TARDISChrono212 said:^^

Right at the start, when the Doctor's telling Amy and Rory that there is a living Time Lord out there. When he's describing the tattoo of the Time Lord (can't remember his name of the top of my head), the Doctor says that all his or her regenerations had the tattoo.Encurtidos said:I missed the part where they said a Time Lord can regenerate between male and female?? I think someone needs to sort out the Oods genetic ability to be taken control off and have a different coloured glowing eyes!
Finally, canon confirmation that a Time Lord CAN regenerate between male and female forms!
Love the human TARDIS! and the makeshift one!
The TARDIS has been with the Doctor for 700 years.
And Smith in Eccleston/Tennant's TARDIS!
Fear me, I've killed hundred's of Time Lords.
Fear me, I've killed all of them.
So much information in one episode!
I'm actually really disappointed that the Doctor didn't find any other Time Lords
Bunk beds are cool!
"The only water in the forest is the river."
Whats wrong with bunk beds?? Lol, he doesn't get that they are now married!!![]()
I guess that Eccleston\Tennant TARDIS was a lot more cheaper to put there than try to replicate the Fourth Doctor TARDIS for exemple...ZeoAssassin said:fantastic episode and clearly the best of series 6 so far. TARDIS always felt like a charector to some degree so bringing her out like this was just awesome, the relationship/chemistry between her and the Doctor HAD to work for the episode to work and Smith and Surrane Jones nailed it.
although, while i love the idea of the TARDIS archiving all the old control rooms, having them go into one of the older classic Who control rooms would have been nicer than the Tennant one...im mean its not like its been THAT long since Tennant left right?
well it was kind of obvios that he wouldnt...TimeLord said:A lot of interesting points in this is episode!

We can only hope he/she makes a reappearance. Whose to say he/she couldn't regenerate from having their arm, spine and kidneys ripped out? That would be badass. As to escape? Same way the Doctor did with the ruined tardises. A man can dream.BehattedWanderer said:Though, I would have quite liked to had the chance for some screen time with that The Corsair fellow. Great name for someone who's ship is found in a scrap heap outside the universe.
I doubt it. Judging by what we know of other timelords not currently in the midst of regenerating, limb removal, and more importantly spine removal, is most likely a permanent situation. And what with every timelord locked in an as-yet-unexplained time lock/murdered, having a survivor sans organs, limbs, and spines would make him a wonderful target for any race in the universe.WolfThomas said:We can only hope he/she makes a reappearance. It's a shield system. The shield keeps oxygen and pressure and all that sort of stuff inside their boundary, and prevents the Time Vortex from seeping in. Since the shields are activated via the Control Room, the main control panel is what controls them, and of course they'd have needed to use a working set of shields to fly the thing in the first place, no doubt they scavenged one from the TARDIS junkyard just as they did the other parts. You recall that Rory and Amy had to reach the archived Coral Control Room to deactivate the TARDIS shields, Idris/TARDIS did the same herself with the makeshift TARDIS in order to safely pass through the walls of the Doctor's TARDIS to reach said Control Room.NinjaDeathSlap said:Possibly my favorite ever episode.
The House was one scary mother fucker.
One question though, how did their makeshift tardis protect them in space, it didn't even have walls?
I still fucking love that quote - it made me laugh with the sheer awesomeness of it. That 'sad but true feeling' was epic.TimeLord said:Fear me, I've killed hundred's of Time Lords.

Oh yeah I openly admitt it's highly unlikely and not going to happen. But it could happen if a writer wanted it, you could have a situation like the 7th's regeneration in to the 8th, where he appeared to be dead and regenerated much later. Say the host drugged him, carved him up and threw him into a pile of trash, a few hours later he crawls out fully regenerated with new body including spine, kidneys and arms.BehattedWanderer said:I doubt it.
