And I don't mean when it comes to getting the courage to do something. But does confidence really show? People say to me that, when it comes to looks, if I believe in myself people will notice and I'll therefore be more attractive. But that doesn't really make much sense to me. How can you see confidence? Cause I don't see much notable difference in how I act and look.
Still on the relationship thing?
Confidence shows in your actions, your mannerisims, your speech, and in a number of subtle ways that many people have written books about.
And the result is essentially this = most people feel comfortable and happier around confident people. They relax, and become more open to dialogue. I may be gettting confused with charisma, but I consider them linked. Charismatic people have a way of making others feel better, and therefore people are drawn and usually prefer their company, as opposed to the constantly depressed or the un-hinged/violent.
You become more attractive to women when you are confident, because in their minds (probably more sub-consciously) you represent safety. However, not all women want safety, and hence the 'bad-boy' archetype sometimes draws more attention. Despite being a 'bad-boy', they still exude a feeling of confidence, which keeps them sucked in.
