let's be honest, if we had friends we wouldn't be playing video games
lol, you couldn't be more wrong. For the past 2 summers, I and three other friends would meet once and many times twice a week at one friend's house, we would all bring our tvs and 360's, system link them and play games from 4pm to usually 2 or 3am. We'd occasionally watch a movie or a tv show, but 98% of the time we were gaming and discussing games.
Even before those two summers we did the same thing, but with just 3 360s because I didn't have one at the time. I just had a Wii, which I would sometimes bring and we would bowl, or play baseball and see what of my downloaded characters would be put on a team, it was usually Jesus vs Hitler.
Saying that someone that plays video games doesn't have friends, is a stereotype. Playing video games has made my friends and I closer. Besides, now that my university has finally let my Live connection get through to my friends, I am gaming with them over Live almost every night, talking about the day's occurrences or and who is still looking for a job or if someone was successful in getting one.
One of the friends I am gaming with actually had to move to the next state over to get a job, and because of gaming(Xbox Live) I can keep in touch and know what is going on.
