does your friends call you by your username

simple question, do they. for me only a few of my friends call me Ziggy, but only is we are in a situation where we need to react fast (like fighting a horde in L4D)

My name (Andy) is short enough in most situations where a short address is required. However there are some people I know on the internet through friends who do know my real name but instead call me by my screen name. I'm generally not bothered.

In games? Yeah, for the most part. Mostly because we don't feel like throwing our real names around in public lobbies.

In real life? Heck no. That would be weird.

The only person who knows my username in real life for this site is [user]Pyramid Head Grape[/user] but even then he just calls me by first name as does everyone else I know.

I like to keep my social and internet life apart from each other.

Haha no. My friend (in person) called my by my real name and they don't even know I'm a member of this site.
However the friends I made on here do refer me by my username.

Nope people just call me Jeff IRL. A lot of my friends on skype just call me jeff too and it doesn't bother me at all. I'll respond to staika and jeff so it's really just whichever you prefer to call me

It depends. Some call me by my real name but plenty call me Faro. Heck even my ex-girlfriend calls me Faro. Which is kinda cute in it's own way.

online its mostly midgets. There one guy in know irl who calls me by my last name for an odd reason. I guess cause midgets isnt really what hes used to saying.

Well, not on The Escapist, anyway. I do have a good few online friends made from games that know my real name though. Just not here.

Edit: Didn't say what my real life friends call me. They mostly call by my last name (Allen). I guess it is a bit easier to say than my first name.

In real life, people call me by my real name or a variation.

Online, it's usually Nouw or 'however you pronounce it' xD. My close online friends sometimes call me by my real name, as do I to them.
