Wow, far far too much thought going into what is essentially 2 seconds of long running animated slapstick.

The nosebleeds always raise a giggle from me, and I love the comic too. :3

Hmmm....

Is it just me, or is Critical Miss a bit stale when they're not baiting anyone?
the should have made the girl Asuka and the boy Shinji

Evangelion never pulls the gag so the comment section would have been amazing.

It's an anime thing, dudes get explosive nose bleeds when they see something sexy. I'm not really sure why nosebleeds became the short hand for erections though.

In most anime, whenever a guy sees something sexy, he comically shoots blood from his nose. Happens all the time, and is actually based on an old japanese wives tale.

Look up Nosebleed on TvTropes and you'll get the context.

School girls skirts should really come with a warning label.
And i thought anime was weird enough already, I've never even heard of this before. It sounds incredibly creepy.
*sigh* I don't blame you for thinking that.

There's actually quite a lot of anime that doesn't have any of the creep that anime is known for. I'd take a look at stuff like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Kids on the Slope, Attack on Titan, Baccano, Ghost in the Shell, Psycho Pass, Fist of the North Star, Parasyte, Rage of Bahamut, and that's just off the top of my head.

That, or just have the panels pull back to reveal some stereotypical depiction of a nerdy white male basement dweller writing to protest about the comic in the first place. Really, just get Critical Miss to say the words "white male", sit back and enjoy the show.

What an inappropriate thing to discuss at a funeral. Kids these days no respect for the deceased.
