According to Risk rules, to secure the North American continent, Trump needs to secure Canada, Greenland and Panama.

Huh.

Thursday was the third hottest day in the history of Buenos Aires: 47 Celsius or 116 Fahrenheit. Not a fun day to spend at work with no AC, or like power, at all.

If anything media has taught us since the 80s, is that it's not giant monster nor other military weapons/vehicles are the biggest threats to helicopters. It turns out the #1 threat to helicopters, or other specific aircrafts, are ninjas.....damn....You read that right. I noticed this trend started with Shinobi (which it does a lot when you stop and think about it), and Ninja Gaiden picked up on this in the 3D titles. Especially in 3:Razor's Edge. Even Yaiba kills a few early on in Ninja Gaiden Z. Then you have Metal Gear Rising and Ninja Blade (the helicopter pilot mutated into a monster) as well. At this point: Ninjas are the natural predators and helicopters are the natural prey.

This channel usually does the shameless promotion of "hey we know the world can feel really scary sometimes, so here's some huge lawyer firm to ease those newfound anxieties you might've just exposed yourself to" inbetween their stories. Though occasionally like this vid it'll do it right after footage of a police officer assassinating their local judge/friend in their own office in broad daylight.

You know what, yeah if I just shot and killed a judge for everyone to see, I suppose tbe world would feel slightly more scary enough to want a lawyer. Thanks, crime lady!

I mean, that's all fine and dandy until someone fires some Stinger missiles at the radar dish
Stingers are surface to air missiles and wouldn't be used that way. And, yeah, if you can hit and damage the enemy first, the railgun isn't that impressive, but that applies to any weapon system.

it's a reference to Metal Gear Solid. You defeat Metal Gear Rex, which of course has a rail gun, by firing Stingers at its radome, which forces Liquid to open the cockpit, so you can shoot him.

What’s amazing is how they still are so highly populated despite all that. Only India recently surpassed them. Imagine if none of that happened, what China’s population might be now. Maybe some other event would’ve taken place, if it inevitably reached a destabilization point.

The second bloodiest war in human history happened in China as well, though that was the Taiping rebellion in the mid to late 19th century.

I wouldn't expect it to be inevitable that the Chinese population was facing such a disaster under Mao, excepting that a massive social change under the rule of a very small group of people is very dangerous

Funny story: I was just talking with some guy on saturday and he brought up the Switch 2. He was infuriated and started asking why Nintendo keeps making Mario, Zelda, DK, and Kirby. I respond at the same reason why Capcom keeps making Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, and Resident Evil. People keep buying them. Thus, those companies are gonna keep making those games.
