Live by the algorithm, die by the algorithm, I guess.
One of my favourite YouTube channels, Paolo from Tokyo, has helped reinforce in my brain just how small Japanese living spaces are. Seriously I feel a little cramped in my 3bed1bath home but it has to be twice the size of the average Japanese apartment of similar fit out.

I say all this because I can only imagine this guy’s YT income must have been substantial as hell because I cannot fathom how 15 people were fitting in a 3LDK Japanese apartment so must have had a much larger property.

Of course I’m assuming he is living in one of the large metropolitan areas. Houses in the rural parts would make this a much more viable arrangement since they’re much cheaper.

Still, what the hell?

Ok, this is a bit niche, but always seems a bit odd to me that the tactile tiles they have at the edge of train platforms look similar in different countries, that that's decided on the best way to make them. Always thought that there'd be a zillion different ways of doing them that'd work about as well, but apparently not.
