yeah cause Buffy never really had a chance to get off the ground and neither did Angel, it's only Firefly that was canceled after fox botched it

the show was pretty good tho, has some promise

And of course FOX selling Angel to the WB, and then the WB cancelling after one season didn't help.

I can agree with that.

I'm a little sceptical of dollhouse though, it seems to have really bizarre premise...and the fact it involves Eliza Dushku another Buffy veteran started alarm bells ringing...I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I really liked Dollhouse. I felt like I was missing something for the first few minutes (I had recorded it, and was kind of worried my DVR didn't catch the beginning or something because of where the show picks up). I thought it had a really slow start but at least said slow start was full of fan service. However, as the show went on I thought it really picked up steam, and I'll continue watching for a few more episodes before I decide whether the series as a whole is good or bad.

I thought it looked really cool, lots of potential, and anything Joss Whedon does is gold, so I have high hopes.

I thought it was rather intriguing. It really reminded me of the whole River storyline from Firefly applied on a much larger scale. I admit that the first 10 minutes seemed like typical FOX "oh look at us, we're teenagers and having fun", but after that the show got a lot better, IMO. I look forward to catching the next episodes.

I digged the idea from the start. I love all of Joss Whedon's work. Firefly/Serenity/Buffy/Angel. He's a smart writer and very creative. Eliza is simply an underrated actress. She was awesome in it.

It has lots of potential and Fox has promoted it well but I hope the Friday timeslot doesn't kill it or Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles. I love it as well.

They pair up well together.
