By the way, casual gamers or not. We all know some thing about popular culture. It not a prerequisit to know who is Super-Krull or what Marvel's Secret Invasion was. But we all have some basic knowledge. And while you are complaining, there were a Anime version of the Fantastic Four airing a last years.

Seem to me that Dr Doom is like all of his prior incarnation in fighting game. I wish they could do something new with the character, since I know what he is capable of.

When was the last time you saw comics at E3 or PAX (web comics about gaming do not fall into the same category of the marvel/DC comics)?

Gaming conventions are based around gaming, Comic Con is based around comics.

Gaming conventions are based around gaming, Comic Con is based around comics.

But they still show movie and and comic... Yeah, maybe indie's but hey, it's not all about videogames.

And, if you would pay close attention, you would see that Super-Skrull has, in the demo, stretch (Reed Richards) Turn his epidermis into orange rock (The thing) And have burst into fire (Johnny Storm).

Wait till Storm comes a long and breaks the game in two (Psylocke, Rogue, or Spiral wouldn't hurt). She will more then make up for the lack of girls on the marvel side right now. But right now Iron man is looking like a good contender for top tier, and without his infinites to boot!

Doom is kinda like mvc2 doom, and they made roman candle and the beam better, pop gun seems to be a special move now, and it looks like they nerfed molecular shield. Hopefully his sweep won't be unblockable for stupid reasons (hits on both sides so it auto crosses up no matter which way you block. Ya, you heard me right.)
But this game is still in its infancy, so i'll leave it alone till its comes out. Until then... HYPE THIS SHIT MOTHER FUCKERS!!!
