Okay, ALMOST all problems lol. Possibility that they may take out SecuROM since theres no info on the game containing the DRM anywhere. I think EA had legal trouble for a past game for a similar offense, but I may be wrong since I'm tired and my brain doesn't like thinking.Fret098 said:

I've only played the demo on PC, and auto-attack was enabled there.
Having said that, I couldn't care less if it wasn't on the 360, because I'd probably be bashing that attack button whether I needed to or not. It's just more satisfying.
I'm sure they'll put in an option for the console players eventually though.

That's how I play. You shoulder trigger to pause the game and access party options (at least you did in ME 2 and DA:0 - I haven't bought DA2 yet because my Sig Other wants to get it for one of my birthday presents). It's a power wheel, rather than... whatever the PC uses (they look different I'm given to understand) but it flows nicely with the analog sticks. I thought it was very user friendly - particularly when I played a mage and needed to be raining firy and icy death down upon my foes pretty much constantly.
So yeah, there's no reason to be mean about console players. We're playing the same game as you, and many of us use the same tactics and play style as you.

Dragon Age on the PC lets you control each individual character's actions in pretty much the same way as in Baldur's Gate, which is part of why I play it on that platform. Maybe it's just familiarity, but to me it feels better than playing it on a console.

Well, I haven't had a proper computer for gaming for awhile, and with the deadline to pre-order the Signature Edition, so it was get it for my 360 and also Pokemon White for my DS, or pay a little over a $100 for a proper graphics card and not have the money to get any new games for 5 months or so.mireko said:

On button pressing, I don't mind. Heck I do it all the time with Pokemon even though I always told it does nothing.
There have been a few times since I got DA2 that I kept spamming the X button for one of my special abilities even though it would still be a little bit before it cooled down.
I wish people would stop suggesting stuff like this. What are the chances that a person is going to have the many hundreds of dollars to spend on getting a proper gaming computer, and even if they do have the money, what are the chances that it is all disposable income that can be used on wants.KefkaCultist said:

Oh, OT: I always pressed the button in DA: 0 with my Fighter and Rogue too. Not with my mage - but then, if I was attacking... well, clearly something odd was going on.
It's a question of what feels better to you. I in turn "don't get" the appeal of gaming on consoles, because I personally find controllers to be uncomfortable and awkward. I have to turn the graphics down - not because they won't run at speed, cause they will, but because my computer overheats in around a minute. Also, I don't own a desk. Hunching over my coffee table for two hours of game playing makes my back hurt.
I have a lot of "friends" who complain that I'm not playing games right because I don't have a desk top computer (and a desk) with lots of PC games. I tend to be rather defensive because of that. I don't mind how others play, I just don't want anyone else telling me how to play.
My amazing gaming PC cost me ~$880 to have it built. I know many people don't just have that money, but thats why you save up for it for like a year or so. Mine took me a summer worth of putting away a chunk of my paycheck each week, but I got it eventually.Sonic Doctor said:

Also, just for like a tip of the day: its actually better to find someone who knows what they're doing and have them build a PC instead of buying them from Dell or whatever. It ends up you pay less for higher quality (unless the person building it buys overpriced stuff of course.)

I do with mine, but that is because it is a 32 inch HDTV, but before that almost 2 years ago, I had a 27 inch tube TV that didn't have gee-whiz newfangled device connection capabilities, it just had one of those built in DVD players that breaks after about 6 months of use.
Well, you have to take into account people like me as well, that don't have a job because of the way the job market is, and because of the job market, employers are being way too picky and have too high standards about who they hire. College doesn't matter anymore; the only thing that matters is if you are an experienced veteran to the job market or have some kind of internship experience for at least 4 years.KefkaCultist said:
