I am looking forward to it! It's good news that a expansion for Dragon Age is coming out, even better if Bioware somehow makes this similar to the success of Mass Effect 2 Compared to Mass Effect 1. Sure, the voice acting of Dragon Age is top notch, but the graphics and the animations feel stiff, so I'm looking forward to see what will be changed.

Make Alister less of a whiny ass emo pansy ***** and i'll be good. Graphics don't bother me in the slightest.
:O I LOVED Alistair. I thought he was one of the best characters. His banter with Wynne was also brilliant.

I thought the graphics were decent. I never found the flow being broken by dodgy graphics.
I loved Alistair as well. On my second full playthrough and just reached the scene where you bring him Morrigan's.. offer on the final night. Even if he wasn't great the rest of the game (which he is), that one scene would have sold me on him as a great character. :)
You mean on your game she offered to 'lay' with Alistair?

She was all about me on my play through so I haven't seen that scene.

You know what would be really REALLY hot. Coming up with a better way to make some party members stay and others move. Hardest part of the game is keeping them from running to their death, or shield blocking a doorway.
Yes this too. It's so annoying trying to pull enemies when everyone else feels like running after everyone and getting themselves owned.

Maybe they should fix more pressing problems first, as long as I can see what I'm doing I don't really care about graphics.

I'd prefer it if they made it more action-y. I mean, the whole 'similar-to-WoW thing, that you press the attack button, and then your character attacks the enemy without you pressing any more buttons' isn't really what I like that much.

Or hell, just give the PS3 owners Mass Effect. That would really satisfy me.

Yeah, on my second playthrough I was a female dwarven noble so, for some reason, Morrigan wasn't interested in laying with me.. though I doubt it would have done much good given the requirements of the ritual anyway. ;) As Alistair and her don't exactly like eachother, and instead of laying with you, Morrigan tasks you with convincing Alistair that sleeping with her is a good idea.

I had no issues with the graphics. I still love KotOR. Graphics don't mean shit when compared to game quality and Bioware provides quality in spades.

Bioware... Stop it... Just put this to the side and finish Mass Effect 3, then feel free to make whatever you like.

Just kidding, kinda. Looking forward to the new looks!

If it means that gameplay, story and other things end up being sacrificed, then no. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the graphics anyway. They're damn good, and are not the be-all and end-all of games.

Who cares about looks, if the combat/dialog suffers from people caring SO much about the graphics I will cry a manly tear.

I played it on the 360 and thought it was gorgeous - and I am an avid JRPG player, so my bar is high. My only complaint was face animation; I'm hoping for less stiffness and a wider range of expression.

How about an original story first, updated graphics second? I was very put off from the use of a fairly cliche plot...and a violent illness, but that's for a different discussion.
When have writers ever been used to develop graphics engines?

OT: The game looked fine, nothing special (graphically) but hardly ugly.

Since when were writing and coding mutually exclusive?

They never have been - and that's not what I implied with the question.

I'd much rather have some god damned voice acting for the main character so there's some actual immersion, but whatever.

I was happy with the graphics and really, who cares about graphics if the innovative gameplay is delivered fantastically while you feel engaged and enthralled with the incredible storyline and devoted to helping your fellow humans or destroying the enemies with passionate and meaningful choices which make you

[HEADING=1]BLAH![/HEADING]

/My opinion.

I liked the look of Dragon Age, it was nice to have a break from Unreal Engine's plasticine face textures.

That said, there was far too much horrible reddish brown everywhere.
