I'd prefer it if they gave the option to put the combat into Turn-Based style, so I could actually formulate a strategy rather than. The few the game really has available.
Freeze as much stuff as possible, let rogues shatter
Drop AOE and Kite in a circle
Have every character either die within the first 3 seconds of the fight, OR drink every health potion you have.
Turn Based worked fine with KOTOR, I was really annoyed I couldn't even turn it ON in DA:O.
Its really my only gripe, it made playing on "Hard" more like "Impossible", and often I'd have to turn the game on Casual just to get past certain fights where I'd die 20 times in a row on Normal because there are casters in the back that aren't in range.
