Am kind of a caster type so I played with a Mage for the first playthrough... boy was I glad for my choice when I tried it the second time with a Rogue >.<
Got to the part where you're looking for the documents in the woods (just before you meet Morrigan). Found it just way too useless, boring and hard, the resource system is really bad (and unlike with a mage, there are no "energy" potions which, assuming you carry enough with you, allow you to not ever have to stop your gameplay) and AoE situations are just laughable, especially due to the Dual Weapon Sweep having extremely low range and radius. They also have WAY too many useful stats, making it impossible to level efficiently, compared to mages that just stack Magic and Willpower and throw in a few Cunning points to pick up the Persuasion talents.
I did find it a lot more tolerable in Awakenings though and while the resources are still a pile of feces, at least you have some interesting attacks. I couldn't be bothered to check, but if you have Awakenings, are the talents available for the normal campaign? Cause they sure as hell should be for the sake of both Rogues and Warriors as it really brings them up to par with mages in the terms of useful skills.
