...seriously, with the liberties they take with other races (read: Dwarves), I'm surprised this debate even exists.
The day non-existant races are judged on factual accuracy will be the day we're sure that we've all gone bonkers.

Tolkien wrote a book, but contrary to popular belief that book is not gospel, dictated by a God.
You shut your whore mouth. Tolkien was mankind's last prophet! Alternately, if you are a female poster, shut your gigolo mouth! Tolkien was mankind's last prophet!

In all seriousness, skyrim WILL be awesome because i refuse to admit any possibility to the contrary.

I like live-action ads.

Tshk, tshk. Do mind your language. Calling somebody a whore in a correctly capitalised and punctuated sentence? Big No-No. Drop the capital, and we'll talk.

In all seriousness, skyrim WILL be awesome because i refuse to admit any possibility to the contrary.
I like how you think.

Its a Wyvern, not a dragon, cause no front legs!
There an many different definitions on what makes a Dragon or Wyvern being they are fictional.

I always subscribe to the definition:
If it's a Lizard with wings and breaths fire, ice or whatever else, it's a Dragon.
If it's a snake with wings, it's Wyvern (doesn't have to breath anything).

That definitely is more of Lizard than snake, therefore Dragon.
Sorry to not pay the topic of the article any attention, but.......

What would you get if you crossed a dragon with a wyvem?
A wagon?

I want this to happen in Skyrim. Breed a dragon and a wyvern, then attach their baby to your horse for extra storage space.

Live-action trailers draw the eyes of those who are used to movie ads, bringing in the notice of those who would otherwise pass up a video game.

By the same token they give video gamers an extra sense of authenticism, like saying "Yeah, we're as good as Hollywood when it comes to making entertainment."

Something like that.

Don't ever show that Link commercial again. I still cannot forgive Hip Hop for what it did to Ghostbusters 2.

Yeah they have buckets of petrol to get things of to a good start.

Also everytime I see a skyrim trailer they seem to be getting more and more like the movie Dragonslayer(1981).

why the live action trailers? because we finally can. our computer technology has advanced so far that it is no longer that costly to make a live action trialer thatl ooks realistic. during the last few years this has became increasingly easy and its nice that companies are picking up this innovation. now where is my promised picture-like quality of games that DX11 promised? meh, at least make good gamepaly, graphics can go to hell be all cubes for all i care.

Is it just me or do the images for this and the 'Mastering Chemistry Through Pokemon' articles look alike?

Video games have been trying to blur the line between movies and games ever since the dawn of 3D gaming.

I see it as just another way to do that. Plus, it shows what movies based on video games COULD be. The "Remember Reach" trailer is better than any video game movie I've seen. I think movie makers wanting to bring a franchise to the big screen need to learn lessons from these shorts.
I agree. A live action trailer for games is a great idea.

I have been deliberately avoiding hype for Skyrim by not watching trailers and gameplay footage. It looks great, as long as I don't have to wear that ugly outfit.
