A couple of weeks ago me and some friends were reminiscing about the good old times at we had school (which was only about a year ago...) especially in drama when we had to go off in small groups in come up with our own plays or adapt a storyline.
We managed to make some awesome ones, one was about 25 minutes long, complete with thieved LOTR music, props including a wooden sword my Dad made and an epic speech at the end. We practiced it for weeks (except 1 guy) and we had a seriously awesome time. However when it got to the singular continuous take of the film, the 1 guy who didn't practice much obviously messed the whole thing up-he threw our timings out completely (we'd synced the music on a CD in to come in and out at specific points), meaning our epic fight scene (which is not so epic when it's 3 guys in a room hacking at each other's swords) was ruined. It was taking forever, I gave up and told the guy to die, he did so, I then realised where we were in the music, told him to get back up (which obviously looked really weird), then when he did actually have to die he kept looking at his watch while he was still in the scene!
Then we also remembered back in about the summer of 2004 we decided to do a proper film ourselves with my camcorder; we got all the footage done but then never got round to editing it. Thankfully we still had the tapes, my friend got it all edited together and we came up with this:

It is totally insane, we had great trouble ourselves remembering what the hell was going on, but I think/hope it'll give you guys a few laughs.
So do any of have crazy memories of letting your creative side loose on the film industry, or indeed have any footage you can actually show us?
