I don't really care for Judge Dredd but if they don't get Anthrax to make the soundtrack I will be disappointed.

This HAS to awesome. All of Garland's work is brilliant. OMG he's writing a Logan's Run remake and has been named as the writer for the actual Halo film.
A Logans Run remake? Oh great.

Anyway, I've only ever read a few Judge Dredd comics, so I'm not fussed either way about this. Sadly, it seems they will still be pushing 3D in the distant future time of 2012. Oh well....

The 16 year old film was awesome for 20 minutes. Right up until Dredd removed his helmet.
Indeed, I was quite happy till it turned into the sylvester stallone show.
Ray Park didnt feel the need to take off his mask as Snake Eyes in GI Joe atleast.

Rob Scheinder has to be in this one as well.
I do so hope you are joking, I am going to proceed with the assumption that you are, lest I feel like you need to be in a care facility.
No unfortunately this one is "darker and grittier" which I imagine will make this horrible. Rob S. was great and I'm sorry if you make a movie with people shouting "I AM THE LAW," it better be funny and realize how ridiculous it is or its not going to hold up well.

This is promising. Sunshine was one of the better sci-fi movies released in the last decade that nobody ever heard of.

And as goofy as it was I sort of liked the original JD movie, sylvester stalone put just enough dumbness into it to make the character believable.

Indeed, Sunshine was rather interesting, and if my sister didn't happen to work at a video store at the time and could get free rentals (and have a thing for Chris Evans), it probably would have flown completely under my radar.

Karl Urban + screenplay from that fellow = I am rather intrigued.
