I'll admit, I have had some doubts since the trailer where the Duke killed the jet pack enemy he was riding and flew him into a building...But all things considered, I hope it goes off well.

The character and just over the top parody-ness is what's selling the game. The controls I'm betting will probably feel like a Halo clone since that's the type of controls that will probably suit the game best. Unless they decide to go back to a real retro style of controls and make it really shitty controls.

But at least there probably won't be any "Hold LT to aim down sights" and that enough is good news.
