Duke Nukem on the Comeback Trail?

Wasn't the last Duke Nukem released over 10 Years ago? Or some shit like that?

It's been 11, soon 12, fuck-mothering years since the last game.

Why can't they just fucking STOP with this already and go get shlorped up by other companies and make completely different games altogether like, yanno, every other company does?

Now I am all for Duke Nukeum being made into upcoming game designers to do a final project of "game play" footage for the rest of time as a joke. But real game? No one wants it.

Diablo 3 wasn't in development for 10 years. It started around 2004 with a studio that Blizzard hired to do the game, in 2-3 years they didn't like the art and Blizzard themselves started a whole new game. It's been about 3 years since that and it's going for a 2011 release.

I dont know...I would like to see another Duke Nukem game...but...only if it is actually 'going' to be released and not just a distant promise, far off in th winds of time...

I wont get my hopes though though...

In another 12 years we may have a version of the Duke, but tat that point all the studio will have for it is a flash game that works half the time. I wish this dev team would give it up, see if another studio that can make it will and if not drop it, Besides at this point if you walked into Gamestop and saw a box with Duke Nukem Forever on it you'd think they were messing with you.

I never said it was in development for 10 years, I said it's been 10 years since D2. Still been out of the players eyes and minds to recover intrest in it. When you make a game and want the series to be fresh you put out a games 1-3 years apart. 10 years apart and who are you now appealing to? The 20 year old now 30's 10 year old kid?
