When people hate on Portal because it isn't a mindless shoot everyone game. Also when people diss HL2 because the physics puzzles are too hard for them. People like this fuck me off because they're the sorts of people responsible for shit like Gears of War.

In a certain context I agree with him. There was just so much bloody story content that I didn't really want it to be a game, I wanted it to be a novel, movie or TV series. I didn't really enjoy the game-play, but the writing was just so bloody good and I think it was made worse by the fact that it was a game... did anyone notice the way every time a character finished a sentence there was always a big pause before they started the second one? It's like they'd finished talking and then they just go talk more. There's nothing wrong with too much talking as I love storylines, but I think there wasn't really enough focus on the gameplay.Diligent said:

I recall one person telling me that he refused to play any games made by Bioware because he hates Canada. Yep, he refused to play KOTOR, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age, all because he hates anything that comes out of Canada.

I don't like ANY RTS EVER MADE, because I'm not a big strategist. For all that, I recognize that, for example, StarCraft II is a great game.
