Ubisoft isnt content with ruining one franchise with the Rabbids, apparently.

Why Nintendo why did this crossover need to exist? This is probably some minigame collect...

Is this...Is this tent does answer xcom? what? well okay then.

This actually looks weirdly interesting, I don't know how to feel about this?

You're certain?

I mean, you're the authority here, I can't definitively say any different. But I always thought it was the social aspect of MMOs that really got its claws into people. My only real experience with MMOs was Planetside 2 and I can say with confidence that if I'd ever managed to find a stable, well populated clan in that sweet spot of hardcore-but-not-too-hardcore I would have stuck around for a lot longer and more consistently than I did.

Or is this one of those silent majority type situations where clan hijinks get all the attention while in fact most players are quietly grinding away on their lonesome?

Regardless, I could actually see myself getting attached to a collection of exo-suits if they came with enough customization for me to make them distinctly mine.
Social bonds are important, but most people express that through their character. A bunch of zero-charisma suits of armor isn't great on that front. Really screws with the "silhouette/easy class ID" necessary for good PvP, although it's possible the shapes will be distinct enough for that to happen.

As for playstyles, at last estimation (back in 2013 or so) over 60% of MMO players were soloists, and that number was climbing every year.

You know, it's quite interesting how well the console market has taken to these incremental console upgrades. The very same people who chose consoles for their ease of use, not having to upgrade hardware, not worrying about not getting the best performance from your machine. There's not been a lot of game new to really set me salivating this year so far, but the reaction to the Xbox One X has amused me, if nothing else.

I hate everything about Bethesda set up, it's so much cringe

EDIT: We know all about this, All of these games are released, move on Bethesda.
I think the only worthwhile part of Bethesda's conference was the Creation Club. I'm really hoping they're going to revise what the concept is all about, because right now there's nothing it can offer me that I can't get from the Nexus or Workshop. However, if they were going to use it as a platform as a kind of legacy support so that when Bethesda stop releasing official DLC (as they have done with Skyrim for example), the community can keep the game fresh with community created DLC. For armour, weapons and textures, it's a horrible system. But for supporting mods like Faalskar for example, it could be a great way to stoke the fires of the modding community.

Starlink, depending how much those toy spaceship/ parts cost, that may make or break the game since the audience won't be comprise of mainly kids.

Also that Skull and Bones look pretty neat.

I thought I wanted Beyond Good And Evil 2 but it turns out I didn't after all.
It was disapointing to see an prequel instead of a sequel. At least it's happening... I guess that's good. Maybe.

So I just want to say to all those who may have actually gotten hyped about BGAE2...

They said it's been 15 years since the first one.
Remember the LAST time there was a 15 year gap between games?

And how THAT turned out?

Difference is all we saw of Beyond Good and Evil 2 the last time was a cinematic, no gameplay trailer in 2008:

We saw how Duke Nukem Forever was being developed on, including gameplay footage, over the years.

Casual Shinji it was a far cry from controlling or moving like a plastic action figure. That would be like something from Platinum Games. From what I've played it felt far more like TLoU.
Well, I'd have to completely disagree with that. Your character lacks any real weight and he animates stiffly. The way he controls and the way the camera is positioned never gives you the feeling that you're ever in control over any situation, be it enemies, traps, or one of the numerous 'running away from shit' moments. There's always the fear of a cheapshot/insta-kill waiting right outside of your peripheral vision.
Completely disagree on all points. Evil Within positions itself somewhere between RE Remake and RE4 and the gameplay is actually perfectly suited to this blend of tactical shooter and survival horror. It is the intent of the game for encounters to feel claustrophobic and tense and that it's all about creating distance between yourself and the enemies instead of blasting through them. The game has it's quirks but I enjoyed it more than 90% of other both horror and action games. The Evil Within simply never becomes boring or repetitive which I think is an accomplishment for a game that is actually quite long. Despite it's minor shortcomings it's simply an awesome game.

Holy shit, it's Beyond Good and Evil 2 a Ubisoft game that isn't an open-world, stealth, collect-a-thon. (Right????)

Yeah... maybe once the sequel's released. As for now, I'm afraid not.

That's a bit immature, don't you think?

I mean, if there was a game focused on killing BLM or some other leftist group, and I expressed delight in this concept, it probably wouldn't be well received. Shouldn't be much different with the other side of the coin.

shush, we don't know it isnt open world yet

plus you forgot the required multiplayer mode
I also forgot pre order bonuses, season passes and microtransactions -- There's only so much awfulness I can put in one sentence before my heart gives out.

The bad guys in Far Cry 5 are part of a sinister, homicidal cult.

Why on earth do you consider that the counterpart to "a leftist group"?

Must EVERYTHING be politicized? Holy fuckballs.
