I wasn't so much let down as annoyed. Annoyed by the enormous pile of Kinect that Microsoft vomited up onto the stage.

Valve did say beforehand that they had nothing to announce this year...

Fable: The Journey.

This will always be my answer. When the Fable name appeared on the screen and Peter Molyneux took to the stage, I was fucking excited. "Yes," I thought "here comes my next Fable fix!"

But what was it? a Kinect-heavy rails shooter! Just... fuck you Peter!

iam sorry i have an Xbox and i liked the halo games but halo4 wtf? they had the story all wrapped up (more or less)at the end of three, and who are we going to kill the Flood?! Just seems like another game to make Microsoft all that more rich.
They are probably going to tie Halo into the Marathon series. Go to Wikipedia for more info.

OT: I really like MS conference since they shied the xbox does more then just games, but dammit I want a real Banjo Kazooie game again. WHERE IS IT AT!

Halo tie in with Marathon does sound interesting thanks I'll go check in out on Wikipedia later. BTW I agree with you on Banjo Kazooie.

Nothing really new for the Wii. Mine will have likely collected dust for over a year while I await the next Zelda. I was hoping for more big game announcements for the system.

All the games of interest seem to be for the 3DS, and I really don't want to buy that system. Oh well, plenty of good PC and PS3 games to look forward to as is.

Secondarily, KOTOR MMO is looking less interesting as time goes by. The 6 minute trailer was amazingly good..but the more gameplay I see, the less I want to buy the game. I honestly don't have any real reasons for this feeling either.

Mass Effect 3 had a few "letdowns" but nothing that really got to me. Like Kinetic support... was a let down cause i think it looks kind of stupid and i know for a fact *I* won't use it, but, some may, so whatever. The release date.. was later then i expected... was hoping for it to be around the time ME2 launched, in January, but again, what are you going to do, and the fact the lead guy at bioware was so... illusive... about muiltiplayer gives me the impression they are trying to shoehorn it in...something i think is a mistake...

But, dispite the fact is seems most of the ME3 news released so far hasn't been what i've wanted to hear... and i'm a tad concerned at the direction they *may* be heading in, I'm still buying the game at it's midnight launch if they have one... lord at this point in time, bioware already has MY money... i mean, they'd need to do something drastic like smack my Mom, or kick my dog, before I ever consider NOT finishing the story... and even then i'd have to think about it.... LOL

Yeah I heard valve actually had to send out emails telling people they won't be at E3.
But a letdown nonetheless.

The Last Guardian surprisingly wasn't mentioned at all. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed.
This but the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus collection having release date, it means Last Guardian isn't far off.

I was disappointed in the complete lack of anything new being unveiled. The only new game that I didn't know about that looks like it could be cool is Overstrike.
yeah that pretty much sums up what i was feeling

Final Fantasy XIII-2. The fact the Square Enix have not seen what a mistake they are making by not only make another squeal to a FF game (because X-2 was sooo good)but making a sequel of XIII that was shit.

What makes this worse is that in order to make XIII-2 they have taken resources away from FF Verses XIII which look good.

And before anyone gets on my case about me calling FF XIII shit it is just my opinion and if someone out their was able to actually like that game then good for you just do not start telling me why because we just will not agree. Also do not try to justify the game being good based on sales figures. Just because people bought the game does not mean that it was good. Case and point I bought it and I hated it.

We learnt very little about most decent games. I already knew the Mass Effect 3 stuff more or less, I just hadn't seen it in action. Gears of War 3 showed how awesome Horde 2.0 will be, but little else of worth, the campaign trailer showed that they haven't decided to give up the crappy, cheesy andover-the-top dialogue, despite hiring Karen Traviss as the lead writer.

The only real positive apart from the information about Horde 2-.0 for Gears was that Halo Anniversary will play identically to Combat Evolved but with graphical and audio updates, which is exactly what I wanted for it.

Well most of the big games I was waiting for probably will be at TGS instead (ie FF Versus, news on Persona 5) so I was pretty content.

I left perfectly satisfied.

I guess I do wish Nintendo followed up on the third parties on 3DS and announced a few things, but given the number of titles as the presser that's forgivable, seems they were focused on First Party. Totally validated my purchase of the 3DS XD and the free stuff and launch of the system update didn't hurt either.

I guess I also wished for a more diverse lineup for PSV, since I'm not big on the big Sony franchises (to be fair, Blazblue at launch did pique my interest), not to mention release dates for said games (here's hoping the launch lineup is decent...) but I wasn't planning to get one day one anyways, and the price point was already a pleasant surprise.
