E3: Microsoft Announces Halo 4 (and 5, and 6)

they should bring out part 3 for the PC first. i find it pretty insulting that part 3 was never made for the pc. just 1&2 and the pc gamer (like my self) is left with them without getting to finish off the series.

Two days late and so many pages later the idea of this post being seen is so minimal, but onwards with my opinion.

"Chief, I need you!" -pause "I'm here." Iconic, perhaps I'm overstating but the relationship between Chief and ... crap I forget what her name is, is what I enjoy most about the Halo storyline. The Chief is always going to save the day somehow, and he is always going to protect that little AI friend of his. Its kinda like how Samus Aran has a soft spot for baby metroids.

And please, for the love of all that is RTS, do not EVER speak of Halo Wars again. EVER.

ok for one, i gotta ask i dont even know what games 343 made so i dont even know will the next one be good.The reason why everyone is complaining because the story is over(no covenant and flood).Its gonna be hard to continue when the threats that you face are dead.So where they going to start the story on?A part of me hates this and a part of me wonders.I am not going to lie I always expect the 4th halo game was master chief fighting his way back to earth.I must do some background check on 343 to see if their games are good.

I dont think 343 have made games themselves per say, but the team is made up with mainly ex bungie workers so they have made the past Halo games.

More importantly, Will someone finally remember that Halo structures have teleportation capabilities? They never bring it up. Cortana uses it once, then forgets about it completely. There was no really good reason they just didn't use it!

If you listen, she does it it requires a large amount of power, she says she can get it from the suit, but they should only use it once.

If he has a battery in his suit, he never once thought to recharge it in the several times he's back in civilization? Its a cop-out to me. -.-

He did get a new one in Halo 2... you see exactly what happened to his power system in the beginning sequence of that game, the teleportation grid completely fried it.

That being said, that does leave some opportunity for us to find out if it was more than a one trick pony, after all, chief does get teleported once during halo 2 as well, if the device still works then it may be an integral part of working with whatever forerunner tech is on onyx (which I am assuming is the area that the Forward unto dawn is crashing into)

I'm the biggest pessimist when it comes to a new game in any series... BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?! I hope it's good and 343 has a good spin on the series. BUT if it's bad, I will personally burn down 343 studios.
