Don't be foolish, Valve has got no money issues what with Steam being as it is. Selling the rights to their second most played FPS (CSS being #1) would be a ridiculous Idea.

EA online runs the servers on the ps3 version.........

urm not its not, now them servers can be used for new titles and releases, instead of clogging up space, EA even said that most of them only have like 3% of people playing them games online...but conquest was a shock to me aswell =\ hmmmmm

Lord of the Rings: Conquest tops my list of worst game from 2009, so I'm glad they closed it down, there's nothing epic about that game.

You'd be suprised how much servers cost to keep up and running.
Still, I would have thought they'd reduce their capacity for the game rather then drop it completly.

I did. My PC died and my steam account vanished when I fixed it. I HATE STEAM and DRM in general.
