I found out i actually already had an origin account, my bioware social account having been converted...that sucks :\

That being said, customer/tech support was always horrible at EA (they told me ME2 wouldn't work with win7 64-bits, what's this nonsense? the problem was something else entirely, besides telling me to reinstall the game and my drivers they were no help whatsoever)

I agree Cullina seems a lot like an EA employee trying (badly) to damage-control, why in the world would EA disclose account details to mr. nowhere ? That'd be a huge breach of privacy.

I'm willing to bet they'd love to reinstate your account if you'd "shut up" though i hope you won't, for one user with a big mouth (no offense ;)) getting screwed i'm guessing there's 10 that just takes it...

Although at that point i'm not sure what i'd consider a "fair resolution"

Oh dear, if this is true, I already have an Origin account =(
I found out when i asked for a password reminder e-mail for my ME2 DLC's, nowhere in the e-mail it says Bioware, it's from "my friends at Origin"

EA - We hijack people into becoming friends with us, because we have no idea how to get them the normal way

offt: Just to let you know I have collected all the information relating to this case and many others just for study and to see if there are any legal problems.

The SAME Zynga employee was stalking and harassing me during work hours. He would post my real name, events I was invited to and even started to harass my friends. I can't believe Zynga would allow their employees do track down people online and harass them relentlessly posting their personal information everywhere.

The stuff he dug up would have taken a lot of time so I know he wasn't doing his job.

Come to think of it, he was on a Zynga computer, Zynga company time and harassed me from their location.

I believe that makes Zynga liable for damages. I should peruse this with my lawyer.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!!!!!
Okay EA, you've forced my hand, this is the last straw, remember what I said a few days ago about how as much as I hated you I was still going to buy Mass Effect 3 new? Well NOT ANY MORE! That's right! I will be buying my copy of Mass Effect 3 PRE-OWNED! To insure that not a dime falls into your slimey, dirty, filthy hands! And then I will never buy another EA game as long as I live, I don't care if Battlefield 3 is 50 cents, I don't care if Dead Space 2 is a quarter, if it has an EA emblem on it, I DON'T WANT IT!

I wasn't going to hop on the EA boycott train, but now it's looking like a real possibility.
I do want to see how all this pans out. Keep us updated.

Same Zynga guy was harassing me and posting personal info on me after he saw the reddit threads. He's claiming to be connected within the games industry, but I don't believe it. It's like someone at walmart palling around with nordstroms.

Blaming the victim.

What you read: "You used Origin, you deserved what you got."

What I read: "You deserved to get raped, look at what you were wearing!"

Come on people..

Also, READ FOR CONTEXT FOR WHAT HE IS SAYING BEFORE YOU POST.

(If you have read for context, disregard the above message)

Err. While I advocate your cause; the dude is offering restitution. Why not take it? Or am I misreading?

He's a forum mod.

Forum mods have no power in this. (by their own admission in posts on battlelog)

I can remember him trying to troll me back on the boards.

He's also late to the party. I have a dialogue with someone from EA going.

even Activision are looking good next to EA these days.
Damn, I hadn't even thought about it but you're right. Activision hasn't done anything to piss me off in over a year. Maybe one of the major shareholders shoved a sock in MR. Kotick's mouth?
Yeah Activision hasn't done anything lately to piss me off eith-
Yeeeaaahhhh No. Activision is still hated more by me.

Plus they canceled the Guitar hero series (I will admit was on its last legs since all the good songs have been used. It still annoyed me though :/)

OT: EA are evil bastards who deserve to rot. I thought this was apparent the second they cut themselves from Steam and made their own shitty rip off of it to save a buck.

Here is what EA should do. They should go down to the nearest Drugstore. Ask for something called Viagra. And it will help them go fuck themselves!

EA? Help? Hahahaha

I love the Battlfield and a few other EA publications. But I despise their support. Battlefield 2 mini expansions Armored Fury and Euro something took me four months to activate, I ended up getting bored and just uninstalling. BF:BC2 kept having issues with the authentication service, I ignored those and focused on the real problem at hand. I have a legitimate copy of Battlefield Vietnam and my key was taken by someone else and I wanted that damn rifle.

EA support said yea, whatever, then activated the gun without the login key. Means that Vietnam still isn't registered and the gun may or may not work. It also locks out other guns randomly, not sure why.

Cust Serv over there is hell, takes months to do anything. If there's a problem, move onto other games. :p I suggest Brink if you want an FPS or LoL if you're just bored.

If they're handing out your information they also violate privacy laws in the USA which is where they're operating. Hit them as hard as you can. :p

Zynga.. You mean that virus program which installs itself through other programs and you can't delete it without thorough knowledge of the OS, registry and a general "How to clean your computer so the CIA can't get anything off it"? How are they still in business?

Edit: Ban in forums? That was on Reddit, see, the problem is, you know EA is hell in their forums. There's been posts.. I think I've seen some here, about people getting banned on the forums then realising they get banned from the game too. Welcome to EA gaming, this is not a democracy. Do. Not. Go. On. The. Forums.

Don't even go to their tech support unless it's a big problem because they're [impolite word here] and will "steal your stuff" in a very literal sense.

Hi there EA Sockpuppet. I'm not angry, I understand that this is a shitty economy, and you've gotta do what you can do.

I wish you luck and hope you find a better place of employment.
