Still makes EA seem like babies though. Clever babies, but they should put more effort in their game quality instead, or atleast not mess with what they publish.

Must be the best thing EA has done since making 80% of there games horrible.
Hopefully I'll stop laughing in a min xD

Yahtzee is so going to destroy Dante's Inferno in a review. Well more than he usually does anyway. Kudos to EA. If only they put this much thought into a game instead of making a God Of War rip-off...

That is...incredibly clever marketing. I have a newfound respect for these developers, even if I'm still nonplussed by the game itself.

Hahaha that is awesome, and in great humour as well. Shame there isn't a video of it happening. Publicity stunts like this I think do help to push a game past the plethora of mediocrity out there, and shows EA aren't the faceless corporation of gaming =p
It's nice to know that the staff there ARE people. These people may possibly also be 4chan, but people none the less.

Also, why did no one film this, at least on a mobile?!

[HEADING=1]THIS, IS AN OUTRAGE!![/HEADING]

People are talking about a ZP episode on it. I'm guessing more of an EP article on rickrolling.

How......interesting. That's awesome marketing even if I'm not too interested in the game itself, EA has still has new found respect in my heart, I still hate them mind you but not as much as I did.

Somehow I want to believe that yahtzee did this, yet cannot. Although I am impressed that a game dev decided to openly address yahtzee via mail.

This... This is actually clever. Seriously. I might actually look into the game now.

I hate myself for falling for their marketing, but at the same time I applaud their creativity. Kudos to EA for once.

This is priceless. EA may be notorious for being cold, heartless bastards who bleed both their customers and employees for every penny they have, but at least somebody there still has a sense of humor.

Absolutely priceless.

I tip my hat to EA on this one // That is some very creative thinking on there part, not only have they got free advertisement but that where able to punish Yahtzee for all his wrong doing and send him to Hell!

You have to hand it to EA. Their marketing campaign for this game is absolutely genius.
If only their game design was as good as their marketing. I've played a lot of games by EA, and none of them showed consistent design, variety or lastability. They are truly in the industry for the cash, and in the worst possible way.
Personally, I wouldn't say EA's all that bad. They're soulless, yes, but they helped give us Dead Space, Brutal Legend, Dragon Age Origins...

*looks EA briefly up on Wikipedia* WAIT, WHAT THE FUDGE? There have been HOW many NBA games?

*slowly picks up pitchfork*
