awwwww. did the nasty man tell you your game was lame? telling the truth was he? made EA cry did he. Grow some balls.

i applaud yahtzee for his actions and laugh at Ea for their pettiness...then forgive them cos they gave us LOTR 3rd age. that game can redeem all.

Hahaha, did someone record a video of it? I demand that if such a video exists, it should be posted immediately. Seeing Yahtzee destroy something would be a spectacle indeed. Nice one EA.

I'd like to point out that this is significantly nicer than I'd have done to Yahtzee, and significantly less harmful than he deserved.

THe very least it would've been Bieber's Baby.

At most? A very elaborate and ultimately mind scarring experience.

*Rubs hands together, laughing menacingly as she leaves*

This whole event was more creative, unique and well thought-out than Dante's Inferno. The irony of it so much sweeter than the entire idea, which was sweet enough to give tooth rot as it was.

I love reading the comments from 2009 and congratulating EA on how clever and awesome they are. If only they could have all seen what I saw back then.

This might have been more appropriate if it was not so incredibly late- when did Dante's Inferno come out and flop again?

I remember when this was actually news on the escapist. I saw the title and thought to myself, "What? They did it again?"

No... just another reason Escapist news articles should be locked after a year.

Do we have video footage of Yahtzee smashing that box with a hammer?

But this is funny. Not quite laugh out loud funny, but very amusing to say the least.
Sadly, no. Here's the thing - our video crew just happened to be out at Red Storm when Yahtzee opened the box and weren't due back for at least an hour. And the music wouldn't shut off, so...we had no choice.
Even free cell phones come equipped with cameras that take video.

Ones from 2009? Not so much. I don't think I even owned a smartphone at the time.
