It was fun and quirky, and it wasn't meant to be overly hard, but if easy is what you want than this gorgeous little game needs about as much cognitive ability and skill as pleasing a Masochist....

trust me.

I'd say any of these games with the irritating "regenerating health" thing that ridiculous Halo game made so popular.

I miss stimpacks and medikits.

Super Smash Bros: Melee. I haven't played brawl, but I'm sure the actual single player on it is just as easy. I can do a run through on very hard difficulty with half minute man on almost every fight, one life.

You have to burn the rope :p

Nah, in all seriousness, I would say that as far as difficulty is conerned quite a recent and popular release that came to a dissapointment was bioshock. The vita chambers which dont seem to have any disadvantage to them. And so you can literally respawn where you died in some cases.

As much as bioshock is a good game, it practiclly plays itself, the big daddy fights were said to be extremely difficult and one of the hardest challenges of the video game world.

Reality - They are so easy that it would be customary to go write up to a big daddy, (with red eyes) and stick a sign on it DRILL saying "Insert difficulty here"

Mass Effect after you get to level 50 as a Soldier/Commando with Damage Immunity. I stopped taking cover and just walked around like the Terminator shooting beat cops, even on Hardcore difficulty.

Technically it is not an easy game when you start it on i believe the hardest is verteran, not sure as havent played it for some time. If you start A NEW GAME, not using an old character but a fresh new one at level 1 then you will find this rather challenging especially the Mako fights.

EASIEST GAME EVER IS LOST: THE VIDEOGAME.COMPLETED IN 3 HOURS AND I GOT 930/1000 GAMERSCORE JUST BY PLAYING THE STORY

Super Mario Galaxy was childishly easy-- granted, I stopped playing after killing Bowser at the 60 star marker, so maybe it gets harder after that.

I am kind of dissapointed to say this, but Kingdom Hearts II. Kingdom Hearts was interesting due to the large amount of boss fights with varying weaknesses which caused players to think. Well, "think" may be a tad too large, but at least you had to dedicate some thought process into what you were fighting. Kingdom Hearts II, on the other hand, usually just had you swinging your keyblade, mashing X until your hand fell asleep. I plowed through the game in just a few days, much to my dissapointment.

Another game that I found was annoyingly simple was the Dynasty Warriors series, which also went into the whole "Mash Buttons" genre.

The most unexpectedly easy game I have ever played has to be Tomb Raider: Legends. Come'on it's a fucking Tomb Raider game, they are supposed to be challenging. This one I got through in like 5 hours... it wasn't even worth buying.
Oh, you're very right. I too was appauled at how easy this game was.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted, Assassins Creed, and maybe Army of Two, but on the hardest difficulty in China, the one back to back part at the end is fricken difficult, took literally 30 or so tries for me and my friend to do it in coop.

I will go from newest game to oldest:

Assasins Creed: I passed it way to quickly and did not face a real challenge through the whole game. I had great fun but getting away from guards simply should have been more difficult to make use of the wonderful free running concept.

Final Fantasy XII: I cannot say anything like i meat it in 3 hours but this game was ridiculously easy seeing as all that was needed to defeat any boss was a quickening that was simple to chain.

Monsters Inc Scare Island: I bought this game on ps1 at the time the movie was out and i had to stop playing after a few hours because i realized i would have finished it if i played to much longer. And i couldn't beat Spyro the Dragon at the time which in retrospect is incredibly easy so this game was WAY to easy.

A mention to the Tony Hawk games. I beat Underground on sick 100% in a weekend. The others i just didn't bother.
