Is it just me or does game these days seem very easy to beat cause i swear im finishing games in 2 or 3 hours. What happen to those game that even gave god a challenge like Battle Toad for the NES or Super Ghouls and Ghost? And lets not forget the first Ninja Gaiden the current ones couldnt hold a candle to the old NES ones

Well there is the first thought and that is that games are trying to reach a broader market, but there is also the more believable note that perhaps games have just gotten easier due to your increasing skill at them. I believe that is called being jaded by something.

Play stalker and rainbow six las vegas 2.

Ive never played stalker before but i have played Rainbow 6 vegas. But i will say this Red Storm made a better and more difficult Rainbow 6 game its was alot more tactical then the Vegas edition.

That's like saying You Have to Burn The Rope is the hardest game ever if every time you push a button you have to do a somersault out of a window, hit yourself over the head with a bat, and continue playing.

There's nothing wrong with handicapping yourself if it makes the game more fun or if you want to challenge yourself, but you shouldn't have to just to make the game challenging.

Yes. Games are designed to appeal to mainstream these days, you sell more with an easy game. If you're after a challenge, find interesting and unique way to handicap yourself.

Half Life 2 Episode 2 was too short in my mind.
I hope Valve makes a consolidated version of the Episodes and calls it something along the line of Half-Life 3.

Those games you mentioned were not 'challenging', they were flawed. Limiting a game to only the hardest of the hardcore is always a bad idea.

I wonder if the games are getting easier or if I'm just getting better? Maybe it was a flaw due to the live system? I'd be interested to see how Half-Life 2 would play if you had a live system. And if you lost all of those lives you have to restart back at the beginning of the game. I need to talk to a modder now.

Surely a bad idea, because if you took away the save system, you'd have to play through it in one go, which is a no, and if people lost lives they could just reload.
