I get called weird by my girlfriend for eating pizza with a fork and knife instead of just grabbing it with my hands, though I sometimes do, and when I do, I eat it crust first.
After watching Seinfeld, the one where George eats a Snicker bar with a knife and fork. That doesn't bother me, as a matter of fact, I do it too.
But what does bother me is when people eat with their mouths open (not putting your lips together when chewing). I HATE that. I don't like to hear or see what you are eating.
With my fingers, holding the crust so I don't get icky stuff on my hand. It's the pizza's own hand holder! I then eat from the middle outwards, which I believe is a fairly standard Pizza eating practice.
If it's a really flimsy slice or one loaded with toppings, I'll usually take the first 3 or so bites with a fork. Otherwise, I pick up and eat with my hands.
I eat with my hands, from point to the edge of the crust, no matter how big the slice is. Don't fold it, just chow down. Once the crust is all that's left, I just eat it like a breadstick.
I eat it with hands, from the tip of the slices to the crust. Those of you who eat with knife & fork are bizarre creatures in the same league of weirdness as the platypus.
