Eating Pizza: How do You do it?

Also, what bothers you about the way others eat?
For me, it's the way my dad eats soup or cereal; he slurps from the spoon which I find disgusting. I also find when people chew really loudly (only applicable to guys)--I can't stand it; or when people talk with their mouths full (only guys..).

so it doesn't bother you if women chew noisily or talk with their mouth full or you just think only men ever do it?

also i tend to fold slices of pizza in half or roll them around the crust.

No, I know women do it. I just find them doing it kind of cute. Men doing that is just disgusting for me.

I use my hands. That and if the pizza is really greasy I usually wipe the grease off on my plate and dip it in ranch. I don't know why but it does taste good. Also I can't stand people eating with their mouths open. It just bugs the crap out of me.

Seriously though, I eat it with my hands. The only times I've ever had to use a fork and knife were for deep dish, and only after repeatedly attempting to use my hands.

Yeah, I am with your girlfriend, TC. I find using a fork and knife for pizza strange, excluding the European variation of course. That being said, I am somewhat neurotic about keeping my hands clean, thus I may hold the pizza very delicately and will refuse to touch any pizza that is overly grease.

What most people find absolutely mind boggling, is while I normally detest cheese, pizza is the sole exception where I like it.

I've always eaten pizza with my hands. I absolutely despise it when people chew/chomp incredibly loudly or with their mouth open... when i'm in a room with people who do that i simply leave because i can't be arsed with telling them to hush =P

Usually I just grab the crust and feed it into my mouth, but I'll use a knife and fork if I have to.

I don't tend to mind the way people eat food - I'm usually too busy eating myself to notice or care - but people who can't use a knife and fork properly, or follow general table etiquette can irritate me.

Hmm, this depends really. If I'm at a place like Pizza hut where it's all nicely cut for you, I'll eat it slice by slice with my hands.
If I'm at an Italian restaurant, however, I usually eat it with a knife and fork. 1. Because it's social etiquette. 2. Because if you try and pick it up with your hands it usually falls apart.
And if I'm eating a pizza from home (still don't have a pizza cutter) I simply pick up the pizza like a massive piece of toast and proceed like that...

I usually scrape off the toppings and eat them separately. The only time I eat pizza with the toppings intact is when it's cold. I'm not sure why, it's just how I've always done it.

I usually just eat it with my hands, though if I go to an actual pizza parlor that makes thick fucking pizza with mozzarella that stretches like crazy I'll eat it with a fork and knife.

I use my hands, unless it is crazy hot and/or greasy.

I also always eat from the tip, to the crust. Any other way bothers me a bit...

If it's the kind that is first frozen than I eat it with a knife and fork because I find that it is often messier. If it's take out or restaurant, I use my hands. Deep dish is always with knife and fork. Also at fancy restaurants I use a knife and fork because it just seems right.
