Russian and Chinese military have one thing better than the US: absence of feelings. Russian soldiers can live off a bag of potatoes and a bottle of vodka for a week. American soldiers cry when one of their own dies. Russians kill each other. During the 1968 occupation of Czechoslovakia, they would run over their own soldiers with tanks or just plain shoot them "Toz nas mnogo!" [Well, there's a lot of us.]
I'm not saying it's good, but it's more effective. Russians in Afghanistan didn't give a damn about how long they were there or what they did. They were brainwashed blood-crazed warriors.
Thank you for being such a good example of modern day western ignorance and absence of knowledge...
Yes, our soldiers can live off a bag of potatoes and a bottle of vodka a week, but only if you throw in pickles(great remover of taste after a shot of vodka), some meat and music instruments. And we are also upset if one of our comrades dies in battle, but instead of crying all the time and then go to peace rallies wasting our time while the Rest of our soldiers get annihilated, we transform that grief into rage and go avenge our fallen brethren. But that does not make us brainwashed blood-crazed warriors. It only makes us not-pussies. I can understand how you sit in the US threatening weak-ass countries with weak-ass armies and then cry about how your soldiers die, but Russia was the target of almost every major invasion since the middle ages. Mongols came for us, Teutonic Knight Orders, German Imperial & Nazi armies, Swedes, Turks, the French(led by Napoleon himself), the English, the Polish?Lithuanian Commonwealth and last but not least: The Japanese. But were still the largest country in the world. And we don't even hold real grudges against all our past adversaries. Watch the "Battle Of Russia" segment out the famous American "Why we fight"-series. Despite some mistakes in details, it shows the right idea about Russia.
P.S. Here's the movie I was talking about.
