Well, I doubt that will go anywhere given that US decisions can, sometimes, influence Canada, and the Supreme Court rejected pretty much this.
Some people are likely to come here saying that this would be a good thing. They've done it in the past discussing the Supreme Court ruling.
The thing is, such restrictions and controls would serve no purpose but to waste tax money, send people to jail needlessly and generally screw everything up.
Retailers will not sell "mature" rated games to minors. They ask for ID if you look like you're a minor. Whenever I go to Gamestop here in the US and want such a game, Mommy has to buy it for me. Luckily my mother is not against gaming, nor is she ignorant and non-caring of the content.
And let's not forget that Bioware is based in British Columbia. They tend to make violent and (kind of not really) sexually explicit games.
