Too many guitar heroes. This is gonna be one of those things where the market becomes saturated in thick, gooey game syrup until we are all screaming for something (anything) new.

That's when Hannah Montana strikes.

I'll be buying them all, because I am cool like that, oh wait, I hate games that make you think your good at something besides video games.

It doesn't matter that they didn't come together until then, they still worked on the original games together. It's potentially the same thing

The only one of those that looks fun is Guitar hero 5, The van halen one, Greatest hits, and of course metallica. Isnt that enough?

Is DJ Hero what Activision did to calm down all the people that called GH "rascist" for not having any rap in it?

Well looks like Activision is already whoring out a franchise. That's unfortunate because I am a fan of Guitar Hero but all this is just... overwhelming.

Wait... did they really get called racist for this?? That's like buying a metal album and expecting to hear country songs.

Yeah there were tons of letters to Activision saying
"My son today just opened up his guitar hero and when we looked at the songs, it had nothing of our cultural heritage (we are African American). So my son asked me if they are racist, and I don't know what to tell him"
and crap like that.

Activison isn't the one milking this series, it's Neversoft. Activison just publishes them. There are a few points here that need to be addressed. First of all, 5 of these titles are rumored. Second, they are just releasing more songs... Isn't that exactly what Rock Band is doing, except that 70% of Rock Band DLC is shit? Guitar Hero just releases them as separate games on disks instead of making them downloadable, which suits me fine having a Wii. The only games that sound bad in that are DJ Hero and Modern Hits for DS. Seriously, DJ Hero? I doubt they will release a game like that; Guitar Hero sticks more around the older Rock music and classic songs. Rock Band goes for all this new shitty pop music that comprises most of the DLC. 75% of WT and RB2 were the same songs, the last 25% on WT was old classic songs, and on RB it was pop music. They're both just trying to make money off their franchises through different methods.

ok. . . guitar hero needs to give it a damn rest. if any other franchised released a game every 4 months, we'd think they've gone 'pants-on-head retarded' they release GH more than some people change socks!!
at least rockband has only made 2 games (1 a year) and have single songs you can download if you want vs. GH: money-pit

Most game series don't go on to have nine sequels... Let alone in the same year, that has to be some kind of record.
