Elder Scrolls 5 or Fallout 4?

My choice is on Skyrim first. We've had two Fallout games since Oblivion, so I say it's time for another TES.

It's been 4, almost 5 years since the last Elder Scrolls game came out. I need some new Elder Scrolls stuff!
I just hope that they don't do the same thing with the leveling that they did in Oblivion...

I disliked quite a few things about Oblivion, but I'm hoping they've learned.

That would be awful. There's been 2 Fallout games since Oblivion, it's unfair to keep making Fallouts when there are TES fans waiting. As much as I'm loving New Vegas right now I really, really want TESV.

I have to buck the trend here and say Fallout 4. I love Morrowind and Oblivion but the nihilist in me wants to see more desolate and desperate retro-futuristic humanity struggling against the odds, especially with a new game engine and a little more time dedicated to it.

I will never agree with those who say New Vegas is little more than an expansion pack because I feel it is far more than that, but at the end of the day everything just seems so familiar. "Oh look, the door to the secret bunker is exactly the same as the basement door to the Anchorage Memorial!".

I feel the Fallout universe is on a roll at the moment and I just want more more more, as selfish and self-defeating as that may be.

Definitely a new TES. Hopefully they will add in lots of what they took out from Morrowind. I am hoping for more weapon choices and heavy back. I was quite annoyed when they had dropped things like spears, darts and just the general choice Morrowind had.

F3 is my fave game of all time but I think it's time for some pretty fantasy landscapes now, the ugly beauty of post apocalyptica needs a little break.

Isn't New Vegas really meant to be Fallout 4? Personally, I think I'd rather go for TES, fantasy and swords always really appeal to me more than post apocalyptic stuff, and the Wasteland tends to be a lot more bland to look at than wherever the Elder Scrolls is set at the time.

Not that the skyline of New Vegas wasn't very nice itself.

any way fallout new vegas is not a sequel, and takes place at the same time as fallout 3.

I honestly dont care which one goes first, both would undoubtably be great games.

Honestly, I find the entire ES series boring and just another 2nd-hand LOTR knock-off fantasy.

But it's fair to the fans to get a new ES game, and as much as I think FO>>>>>ES, Fallout 4 can wait.

Plus, I'm kinda curious if Bethesda can win me over this time with Skyrim.

Ill go with Skyrim, mainly because i love TES but also because ive never played fallout

Only one problem i have with it it....i never know what im doing and end up just messing around instead of playing in the story

Out of curiosity, how much of the lore have you read?
From how I see it, it's basically Warcraft "ripping off" Warhammer. They started similarly, but have evolved into something different.
