Joncis stepped into a small inn inside one of the Imperial City's districts, along with Enthir Aylieus, as they both took their seats near the back of the poorly lit building, Joncis asked ''How many are going to be coming with me to deliver these?'' Enthir replied ''twelve, originally there was going to be 15, but the Redguard and Altmer got cold feet, and from what I can tell the Nord from Solstheim has joined the Ebonharte Army'', Joncis took a look at the dozen dossiers, ''really Enthir? Do you think they'll keep these Elder Scrolls safe?'', ''If they knew, no'' Enthir passed Joncis a mug, ''but none of them know the contents of the package, now we wait for them all, assuming they can make it here'',

So for now, Joncis and Enthir wait for them.

Luna was already in the inn, hiding away in the darkest corner of the room. She spotted the two walking in and waited for them to be seated. In her fingers, she was rolling a gold coin, waiting for the right moment. Sensing that the time was right, she pulled her hood on her cloak down to block the view of her eyes and rolled the coin across the floor.

The coin rolled and made a noise that dragged both Joncis's and Enthar's eyes to it. it stopped infront of the table, causing them both to follow its trail back to its owner. Their eyes took a minute to adjust to the light, but they were eventually able to make out the dumner sitting in the corner of the room.
"So you two are my employers..." she said. The elf hadn't heard any of the conversation and didn't care. it was work and she was going to be moving around the countryside, plenty of fresh victims to take advantage of while getting paid.

Dro'Araaj entered the inn and quickly moved to sit with Joncis and Enthar. "This one heard that you had need of Dro'Araaj for a trip, at least this one hopes it was you else Dro'Araaj may feel somewhat embarrassed."

Lloden Vedas stood at the bar, haggling over the price of a chunk of venison. He turned away, grumbling. He slipped his hand into a small pouch at his waist and retrieved a scrap of paper. He studied it for a moment, then replaced it. He was in the right place at the right time.
Lloden glanced about the inn, studying the features of the patrons. Finally, he spotted the duo in the shadows at the back.
He started over to them, walking quickly, attempting to see the men more clearly.
Lloden had been outside the city the day before, stalking a buck he had been tracking for some time, when a courier tapped him on the shoulder. How the man found him, he would never understand. Regardless, the courier had handed him a paper with a date, time and address, and a brief explanation. "Delivery job. Well-paying. At the back of the inn. -Joncis." How very cloak and dagger. he thought.
"I assume one of you is Joncis?"

''This is the one'' Enthar told Joncis, ''He may not be the best fighter, but he'll be useful when you least expect it''

''Don't ever be alone with that one'' Enthar wispered to Joncis, ''Thanks for your words of wisdom Enthar, but if what you have so far for me judging by these dossiers is a murderer and an alchemist we're not gonna make it past Skingrad''.

Luna made a coughing noise, ''Oh, sorry, I'm Joncis, I assume you two both know about the.... delivery, anyway, make yourselves comfy, we still have 10 more people to arrive''.

Dro'Araaj glanced at the Dunmer, sizing them up in the event that things went sour. The male Dunmer looked like a hunter which could mean trouble, it wouldn't be the first time he'd been attacked in a city. He turned to face Joncis.
"This one was not aware there would be competition for this job, or are these to be my co-workers."

Anruin left the back room of the inn with a slight headache after trying once more to get out of his bar debt, to no avail, and noticed his contacts in the back talking to a woman in a heavy bear cloak, a khajiit, and a shady looking breton.

'Teammates or competition? Either way, best introduce myself.'

"Hello all, my name is Anruin. May I ask what your names are?

''.....make that nine'' Enthar said.
''That's me, I'm Joncis, you're the second Dunmer on the list, I would say make yourself comfy but everyone's came in suprisingly quick, go talk to Luna, she's a Dunmer as well'' That went well, thought Joncis, except for the fact that Luna's a skilled killer and he probably inadvertantly signed Iloden's death certificate.

Suddenly, the door creaked open, as a man dressed Head to Toe in..."Unique" looking Dwarven armor to say the least. Heck, everything about him looked unique: His sword, his Shield, his Armor, everything was not of the standard. This meant he was either very rich or made his own stuff. Probably the latter, he didn't have that air that said "I'm better than you"...not by a long shot.

Belkin released the latches on his helmet, sitting down at one of the chair and setting his helmet down in front of him, letting them see his Imperial face.

"I'm here about a job...a Very vaguely worded job, but a job."

"Bites-Her-Tail!"

Somehow, in the midst of conversation, a very short Argonian had managed to sneak under Joncis and Enthar's table. When Anruin asked about names, she loudly declared her own, clambering up to sit on the table itself and look around at the others gathered there. She swayed gently back and forth, then leaned over the table to grab something she'd left under it. The object was a large wheel of cheese, which she balanced carefully on her head. "Job pays well, yes? Need money for more cheese. And more knives."

Dresden strolled into the inn, cheerful as a Nord with a wench in one hand and a tankard of mead in the other. Finally, he was about to go on his first big adventure, and get a good amount of coin to boot. He wondered if there was more to this than was being, came to the conclusion that was most likely, and resolved to find more out. Somehow.

Dresden spotted the group amassed so far, and saw his employers in the midst of it. "Well well well, quite a team for this," he whispered to himself, "Time for my introduction."

Dresden briskly walked over and, with a hint of pride and anxiety, greeted them with, "Hello, my name is Dresden Flame-Soul, and I believe that I might be here to help you with a certain task. How do you do?"

Lloden glanced at the dunmer lounging in the shade.
"You know, funny thing, but I'm not sure she's too fond of company."

"My greetings, sera. My name is Lloden Vedas." He sized the bosmer up, and decided that the politeness was either feigned or insincere. Either way.

The Inn door opened as one of it's patrons left, a home and bed calling to his ale addled mind. He hardly noticed as he was shoved harshly out of the way by a scale faced and fang mouthed figure who shoved his way in, a irritated hiss an growl coming from the slightly larger figure.

This new occupant of the inn's common room glared around the room, his reptilian nature clear to anyone who wasn't skooma addled or just plain blind. He curled his lips back in dramatic sneer, his sharp teeth discouraging those few who looked like they might've made something out of an Argonian walking into 'their' inn.

Normally Idreon would've entered under a heavy cloak, crouched low to hide his stature, his feet, kept his tail coiled about him like a belt. He would've made the effort to look like a meek and decrepit traveling merchant of trash wares. Few would suspect a cloaked serf of being the imposing warrior that Idreon was to many. However, today he wasn't needed as a swift blade, or an unseen ear and eye, rather today he was needed for his presence, and what it could do by being openly displayed.

Sharp green agate hued eyes roved across the inn's occupants, pleased that the few morons present had backed down from their thoughts of picking a fight with his show of teeth. His gaze however sought something specific. A contact in the city had brought him word of someone looking for hardy individuals for some sort of journey. He'd grown bored of the day in day out work these pathetic merchants and so called 'Nobles' kept hiring him for here in the city, and had agreed with his informant that he would take the job.

Now he had only to find the ones who would be employing him for some time to come. His eyes did not have to work themselves to any extent however as a table in the back quickly drew his attention, two humans sat assuredly as others began to gather to them and their table.

'That one.'

He strode through the inn, tail swaying dangerously close to several of hte patrons, passing by and over several by only a few scant inches with practiced ease as his gait brought him smoothly to the growing gathering. Looking back once more to gauge the reactions of the patrons, he was pleased with himself that he had only left minimal gouges in the wood he had walked across.

He looked back to the others at the table and took stock of their stature and how they held themselves before openly addressing the more wary looking two of those gathered.

" I was informed that someone here had use of my services as a guardian... I believe our mutual contact delivered my acceptance of your proposal last night?" He stood tall, making sure give the best visual impression his could of himself, tail swaying behind him, it's bladed tip affixed firmly and flickering in the dim light as he angled his head down to more prominently display his horns.

Likes-The-Mud had been busy buying some of the provisions he would need for his next trip. A spare tinder-box, plenty of arrows, and some wormwood leaves. A little expensive for his taste, no doubt the Imperial shopkeeper had charged a bit extra, assuming the Argonian wouldn't notice. It miffed him slightly, but the prospect of a new job had given him a nice attitude lately. A simple bodyguard job for a package, one that paid well enough that he could make two months deliverance at once.

They were to meet at the inn as he recalled, and so he traveled there, where he had noticed a small group forming in the middle, all armed or otherwise dangerous looking. "Must be it." he muttered as he sat at a table next to the group, waiting for the conversations to die down a bit before joining in. He laughed when he saw the Argonian female pop out from under the table. At least he would not have to work by himself, and it seemed the Argonians outnumbered the Khajit. And the Dunmer. A good omen to say the least.

"Well that's the last one" Astoph says as he finishes the last enchantment on the provided list
*Now time to go see what that delivery protection job was all about* He thinks to himself whilst approaching the in
As he walks through the door in his armor, with his hood completely covering his face, like a dark mysterious shroud
He takes seat at the table, raising his finger to indicate to the bartender a cup of mead
He watches the group from the cover of his hood, waiting to see what events result.

Lloden watched the new strangers sizing up the group, and decided that wariness probably would have been a good idea. A bit too late, alas.
"Luna, hm? Not a very dunmer name. Between that and the cloak, you'd have to have been from the north, I assume."
Lloden sized up the woman. She was very intimidating, Lloden had to give her that. She exuded agelessness, despite the fact that she couldn't be over twenty years old.

Luna looked around at the gather group. It was quickly decided that she wouldn't feast on any of them. The argonians scales were a nuisance to get through and the rest of the races assembled looked like they would converse and become friendly. She had learned that the loners would be easy pickings because they wouldn't be missed.

The Dunmer automatically assumed that the night watch would be where she was to be most valuable. If any bandits attacked the cap, she could feed and then burn the bodies. no trace of her vampirism escaping to the group.

While scanning the bar, luna noticed one sitting much like herself, simply observing. She decided not to approach him or say anything, but observe him. She kept tabs on the rest but watched this man.
