The petite Argonian bobbed her head, the cheese wheel falling into her lap. She blinked slowly as she stared at Anruin.

"Hello hello, pretty elf," she said, and grinned widely. "Pretty blade, too." She tilted her head to the other side, before once more balancing the cheese atop her crest of feathers.

Urgal swaggered into the inn late like he owned the place. He was dressed in full orcish gear with a mace at each hip, helmet under arm. Urgal knew the barkeep well and exchanged a nod for a pint of ale, which he promptly took a swig of.

There was a magey looking breton talking to an official looking bloke along with a Dunmer guy. He noticed a theify sort of dunmer girl sat in the corner. An Argonian was on the table playing with some cheese and a Khajiit was stood nearby looking like he would rub up against anyone who said so much as hello to him. there were a whole bunch more looking at him.

He glanced at the rest of the crowd, not spotting an Orc amongst them.

He took a deep breath, no real hard hitters bar him for when things get serious, he thought.

"Greetings. The name is Urgal-Gro-Lee. I assume the large gathering is because of this delivery job right?"

"Bites-Her-Tail!"

Somehow, in the midst of conversation, a very short Argonian had managed to sneak under Joncis and Enthar's table. When Anruin asked about names, she loudly declared her own, clambering up to sit on the table itself and look around at the others gathered there. She swayed gently back and forth, then leaned over the table to grab something she'd left under it. The object was a large wheel of cheese, which she balanced carefully on her head. "Job pays well, yes? Need money for more cheese. And more knives."
"GAAAAH!" he yelps halfway through drawing his blade. "Erm, sorry," he mutters putting it away.
"Nervous, sera? We're among-" Lloden broke off for a moment and glanced about, choosing his words carefully. "-compatriots here. Regardless, I look forward to working with you as well."
Lloden glanced at the curious-acting Argonian and shook his head. Some people were simply born strange, and he decided the woman who had declared herself as Bites-Her-Tail was one such.

Anruin left the back room of the inn with a slight headache after trying once more to get out of his bar debt, to no avail, and noticed his contacts in the back talking to a woman in a heavy bear cloak.

'Teammate or competition? Either way, best introduce myself.'

"Hello all, my name is Anruin. May I ask what your names are?
"My greetings, sera. My name is Lloden Vedas." He sized the bosmer up, and decided that the politeness was either feigned or insincere. Either way.

Dresden came over to look at the miniscule, deranged Argonian. "Quite a lively one, aren't you? Looking forward to your venture in the quest for cheese and sharp implements?"

"Yes, yes!" She replied, bobbing her head happily and once more letting the cheese drop into her lap. She grinned, barely seeming to notice this. "Always need more cheese, more knives! Knives cut cheese, make it easier to eat!"

"Yes, quite," he says studying the female argonian. 'A nutter or a Sheogorath worshiper? Have to keep an eye on her.'

Belkin looked around at everyone talking to one another...and yet he, pretty much the Mammoth in the room as far as Political Disputes went, was being ignored for the most part...he didn't know whether to be insulted or happy with that outcome. Despite that, he sat there, quietly, just observing what was going on around him, at the same time checking shield for any imperfections...again.

Bites-Her-Tail stood, and leaned over to pat Anruin on the head, like someone petting a dog.

"Good, nice elf," she cooed, before noticing she'd lost her cheese. She muttered something under her breath as she retrieved it, putting it back on her head as she sat down again.

Lloden glanced about once again. Just how large is this group, I wonder? We're obviously not going to be staying in Cyrodiil. he thought, before noticing the cyrodiilic seated at a table, apparently admiring his shield.
The emblem stamped on it tugged at his memory, and he stood for a moment trying to remember where he had seen it before.

Lloden seated himself across from the man unceremoniously.
"I think I know that sigil. Your family crest, I take it?"

''Hold on, you're the Wood Elf, yes? Anruin?'' Joncis asked ''yes, that's me'' , ''well on the one hand you're not another Dunmer, on the other your people don't use second names, kind of primitive if you ask me, anyway, I guess you'll make an excellent asset to the team, do you have any kin in northern Valenwood?''

Idreon looked around, rapidly assessing others as they approached, and openly inquired about the same job he was here for.

His assumption confirmed by the others gathering and the nodding of the employer. His opinions concerning his apparent coworkers however... were varied.

Bites-Her-Tail for instance, elicited the nearly impossible to resist urge to yank her off the table and throw her into a chair, but the combination of how others were taking to her and clearly battle ready attitude of the more heavily armored folk that had since joined them quickly led to him simply relaxing to a more leaning posture, head and tail swaying and bobbing to keep balance as he kept reassessing the other occupants of the inn.

After a Time he settled for standing protectively behind Jocin and Enthir, eying Urgal, the orc's body language bringing a scowl of irritation to his lips, teeth showing through momentarily.

" I suppose you'd make a good distraction.. might even get more than one use out of you."

As Anruin explained, Joncis looked over the dossiers once more, we were still missing Vargmir Beast-Born, the Nord.

Bites-Her-Tail turned her attention to the larger Argonian as soon as he moved. She gripped the cheese to her chest as she moved across the table to get closer to him, bobbing her head eagerly as she looked him over.

"Big, big lizard, pretty scales," she said. She seemed to be simply stating her observations about him aloud. "But why so angry?"

Belkin awoke from his inner stupor to see the Dunmer talking in front of him. He sat straight and talked to him.
"Uhh, yeah, kind of. Hammer and Sword crossing each other, showing the family's constant state of being great Blacksmiths and great Warriors. Came from my Father's side of the family, why, where did you see it?" he replied, curious as to what he may hear.

''Looks like that's everyone'' said Enthir,

''Attention everyone, we'll be leaving the Imperial City in 5 minutes and will be heading for Skingrad, we'll set up camp at the half-way mark, then enter the city next time''
Bites-Her-Tail was excited-- deranged was probably a better word but I won't comment.

''I will accompany you to Skingrad Joncis, but I have to stay in the province, I hope you understand, once you make it past the Dominion forces outside of Skingrad, follow the river along the Gold Coast south and you'll get to Falinesti within a week''

''What about this Nord on the list?'' Joncis asked.

''Well I'd look at it 2 ways, either he's dead like the Redguard, elf and other nord, or he's waiting on us outside the city''.

(NOTE: don't make posts this long, this is just to drive the plot along)

Luna looked around at the gather group. It was quickly decided that she wouldn't feast on any of them. The argonians scales were a nuisance to get through and the rest of the races assembled looked like they would converse and become friendly. She had learned that the loners would be easy pickings because they wouldn't be missed.

The Dunmer automatically assumed that the night watch would be where she was to be most valuable. If any bandits attacked the cap, she could feed and then burn the bodies. no trace of her vampirism escaping to the group.

Random Fella said:
He takes seat at the table, raising his finger to indicate to the bartender a cup of mead
He watches the group from the cover of his hood, waiting to see what events result.
While scanning the bar, luna noticed one sitting much like herself, simply observing. She decided not to approach him or say anything, but observe him. She kept tabs on the rest but watched this man.
Dresden saw a one of the other Dunmer, not interacting with anybody, just... watching. Well, she seems a bit cold, like a dip in the oceans north of Winterhold, which is to say, somewhat... chilly. Maybe I should talk to her, and try not to die. He decided to make his move towards where she was sitting.

"Hello, shield maiden. I believe we're not acquainted. My name is Dresden. May I have the privilege of knowing yours?

"Hm. Smiths, then? I think..." Lloden thought back for a moment. "Ah! My father awarded one of our household guards with armor with that sigil as the maker's mark. It was, if I remember correctly, exceedingly fine armor. Though perhaps I'm not the best suited to judge it."
