Why is it that so many people, when they hear multiplayer, assume that it's a mode for competitions, pwning noobs, and griefing. What's wrong with co-op modes? Maybe it's my old-school love of table-top playing, but epic quests are best when they're shared with friends.
I would love to see a game series like Elder Scrolls have a co-op mode. Granted, I don't think it's necessary at this time because Hunted: The Demon's Forge may very well scratch the itch I have for this type of game (though no local multiplayer option, sigh).
It's unfortunate that so many people are immediately turned off by multi-player modes. I know I'm not the only one with friends who also game. Do other people really prefer to simply relate their own personal experience to their friends over having a shared experience with them?
