Oh, because no other president ever golfed. Golfing = corruption, got it.
As far as we know Trump is the only president who golfed on his own properties and then had the government pay his own properties. And that is corruption. Maybe not the grandest case but corruption all the same.

"Scandal" is a word for when the media attacks something.
Did the courts ever find anything wrong with Trump U? No, they didn't he settled out of court and the terms of his settlement meant he admitted no wrongdoing. The same courts you trust in to tell you that election fraud didn't happen.
Settling doesn't mean innocent. It just means he could afford to settle while his victims couldn't afford to wait since lawsuits are expensive.
So we should just uncritically believe every smear campaign done by every candidate ever?
You may be critical but if Trump's own past and present actions line up with that then there's not much you can do. If the media says he's extremely corrupt and Trump proceeds to then act very corrupt then what the media says and what Trump does line up. If Fox News said Obama was corrupt it would not line up since Obama does not have a history of corruption and his administration was relatively clean.

There are all sorts of things we don't know details on
And yet "we're" willing to take them as proof that he's corrupt without official confirmation by a judge. I mean, if Trump is so corrupt, impeach or arrest him.
That seems familiar to election fraud claims, doesn't it?

Settling doesn't mean innocent.
Good, we're finally realizing that our justice system isn't the omniscient arbiter of whether or not something happened.

If the media says he's extremely corrupt and Trump proceeds to then act very corrupt then what the media says and what Trump does line up
"How Trump acts" is defined by the media by choosing not to report on the honorable and noble things he does, and instead, only reporting a slanted view of what they can use to make him look bad.

Some charges on obstruction of justice lie open for action. We might note the special prosecutor followed specific DoJ direction that it was not his place to recommend charges.

Trump was impeached for some charges. The end result of which was, to quote senator Marco Rubio (R):

"I will not vote to remove the president because doing so would inflict extraordinary and potentially irreparable damage to our already divided nation"
"For purposes of answering my threshold question I assumed what is alleged is true. And then I sought to answer the question of whether under these assumptions it would be in the interest of the nation to remove the president."
"[I disagree with the House Managers’ argument that] if we find the allegations they have made are true, failing to remove the president leaves us with no remedy to constrain this or future presidents. Congress and the courts have multiple ways by which to constrain the power of the executive. And ultimately, voters themselves can hold the president accountable in an election, including the one just nine months from now."

Or to translate Mr Rubio's contortions, "He's guilty, we're just not willing to pay the political price of finding him guilty."

The point being, there has been pretty good evidence that Trump has been corrupt. Whole dossiers on it, in fact. This about a million times more evidence than we have for substantial election fraud, which amounts to potentially crazy women fresh out of suspended sentences slurringly claiming officials completely re-wrote the voter rolls.

"We have so much evidence! All you have is: [opinion] [opinion] [opinion] [opinion]"
You're shooting yourself in the foot if resorting to personal attacks against a witness is your go-to.

Makes it seem like you don't have a good argument and are just biased.

On the subject of media bias, straight from the horses' mouth:

If that sounds like a double standard, Acosta told me it’s not partisan—it’s a matter of professional solidarity,” The Atlantic article read. “In his view, Trump’s campaign to discredit the press has constituted a ‘nonstop national emergency,’ one that required a defiant response.”
It's about "solidarity" and "a defiant response", not about reporting facts in an unbiased manner.

If you didn't do anything, why would you pay to settle a case out of court? Let me know when the democrats pay the republicans to settle these election lawsuits out of court and I'll agree with you that there was fraud.

The media's been shit for quite awhile now...

Because it takes up time, energy, money, and presents the media the opportunity to continue reporting about it. Settling is a good way of shutting it all down so people will shut up and go away.

Both parties agree to a settlement, though. Why would they agree if they knew they can win in court? See, the same question applies.

Here's a quote from Trump referring to the Trump University lawsuit...

TRUMP: This is a case I could have settled very easily, but I don’t settle cases very easily when I’m right.

He didn't settle very easily. He settled eventually.

Looks like he settled cause he was wrong. New York even told Trump the same year the "university" opened that calling it a university was against the law.

“I don’t settle cases,” Trump said.

The phony lawsuit against Trump U could have been easily settled by me but I want to go to court. 98% approval rating by students. Easy win
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 3, 2016

TRUMP: ... We have a 98 percent approval rating from the people who took the course. We have an “A” from the Better Business Bureau. And, people like it. Now, he’s saying they didn’t learn. We have many, many people that will be witnesses. Again, I don’t settle cases. I don’t do it because that’s why I don’t get sued very often, because I don’t settle, unlike a lot of other people.
The Better Business Bureau responded by saying that it never gave Trump University an “A” rating, and had in fact received “many consumer complaints” about the university.
I should have easily won the Trump University case on summary judgement but have a judge, Gonzalo Curiel, who is totally biased against me.

Like I said, everybody lies, even Obama, who settled in his own lawsuit. Your treatment of Trump shows a double standard

I'm saying that people on this site, who hate Trump, don't hate Obama for the same crimes.
Glad to see your making up what people think again.

Seriously, how many people on here really liked Obama?

Here’s what I can say, Obama’s rate of crimes is far less. That’s the only reason why I like him more. (He did plenty of war crimes and crimes against humanity.) But it’s like the way I like Stalin more than Hitler... not a prize you actually want. Also, I don’t think there would be 350k corona victims in 2020 under Obama. Probably around 200k.

Just wow. A lawsuit about the technicalities of a healthcare bill and a lawsuit about running a fraudulent university is in the same league? You don't even need the media to tell you who Trump is, it's all there in his own quotes.

What don't you get about me saying both the democrats and republicans are the bad guys?

As far as I remember, the Republicans thought the money shouldn’t be used in the way that it was. I don’t remember it he case thanking about this helping Obama gain financially, which would be fraud. You know, like shifting money from the charity into your own business

I mean, if you want to hate on Obama, there's so many better examples. Like how he's trampling community organizers in Chicago to erect a massive shrine to himself. Or when he overturned a Bush era restriction on Modi to help normalize his anti-muslim extremism in the name of deregulation. Picking Republican partisanship as your example is pretty weak.

My primary point with all this began with an accusation about media bias.
Whether or not people on this board hated Obama like they hated Trump is of secondary importance to that. The media didn't make criticism of Obama headline news every day during his presidency, like they're doing with Trump. It's a propaganda effort instead of journalism.

Obama didn't act like Trump, saying stupid inflammatory shit daily. When the POTUS does that, it's news, which journalists will report on.
Unless you want to quantify it with some actual data, this is just your shitty misinformed opinion.
