Elementary School Performs Scarface UPDATED!

So let me get this straight... Elementary schools in Texas kick kids out for having "long" hair. Elementary schools in Illinois have their kids perform Scarface. Not a huge divide in world views in different areas of my neighbours(and it does have a "u" dammit) to the south at all...

If you look in the dictionary under "wrong" you would find this video... If this was real, and it was my kid, I would have the teacher fired.... I don't see how you justify kids doing a play of Scarface... Now if this was high school level, maybe.. Elementary school... No..

Hey, I know! Videogames don't promote violence, hatred and sexism. Elementary School plays apparently do.


Who made them do it? I think it's a tad too young, altough I would have loved to play in it as a little kid, well actually it's fine. Man...USA keeps surpirsing me.

I never actually saw Scarface, its on my list of things to do, but the end scene is awesome.

The Portal theme done by primary kids, I liked. This? not so much, there's a fine line between giving kids the bit of leeway they deserve (e.g. Portal) and going a little bit too far.

When I was in elementary school, the music instructor had me and the fellow students sing Greased Lightning [http://www.lyricsdownload.com/grease-soundtrack-greased-lightning-lyrics.html]. Suffice to say, a lot of the words were replaced.

They did a gangster movie called "Bugsy Malone" (I believe) with all kids years ago I believe. I don't see how this is fundementally all that differant.
