Sure it is. It's also factually true that one or the other of those parties were going to get in, and has been the case for many years.
Because you know that's how people will vote. People can vote for whoever though, it's on the people to vote in their best interests. You're part of the problem telling people that only these 2 people can win.

You wouldn't just consider say McDonalds or Burger King if you were wanting a burger.
If I had to get 70 million other people to agree with me on a burger place and I was going to be stuck with whoever won, I might. Because I'm far more likely to get a few more to pick Burger King to help narrow an often thin margin than 70 million to pick Oscar's Breakfast Burgers and Brews.

Jfc I thought I was cowardly and pathetic, but to hear Jones swerve hard into the fawning Elon's love pillow role at expense of his own base felt disturbingky life-affarming. If only for a fleeting moment. Saying he essentially is going to be Elon's divine interpreter to his fans who, evidently in his eyes, are just too fckin dumb to be trusted understaing Elon's adolescent BPD outbursts in the correct way they're supposed to.
Fundamentally, every rich man who wants to get into politics is a potential gravy train. They will seek out and pay minions to spread their influence, and every grifter after a quick buck will add their appeals. After all, Why bother with the vicissitudes of public favour when you can just tap a sugar daddy for a few million?

ADL seems unsettlingly comfortable dropping all pretense of ever giving s shit about actual antisemitism of late

Not the most heartwarming trajectory we appear to be stuck on

You think I care about German politics enough to have sympathy for any of their political parties?

When you start using hyperbole and exaggerate, it makes me and most people see you as less believable. Nuanced takes are far more believable than calling everything you don't like fascist.

Harris and Trump weren't the only people you could vote for, I didn't vote for either of them.
Did it make a difference? Did someone else other than Harris or Trump get in?

But if it was your birthday and your favorite food was a burger, you're not going to McDonalds or BK, right? Sure, on a Tuesday, you might stop at a McDonalds that's on the way home for convenience. You vote for president once every 4 years, is it really that difficult to vote for the best candidate like getting your best burger on your birthday?

Everyone has to vote for the best candidate, that's the point. All I can do is my job and I did it. Tell me why the mindset for most people isn't to vote for the best candidate, that's the problem. It's the president of your country and you're not going to vote for the best candidate, why the fuck not?

They don't want to upset Elon, he's too rich and now part of the government. Therefore any antisemitic stuff he might do simply isn't.

It's not actually been about antisemitism for a long time, and their studies on things are built upon deciding what they want to find and then working backwards from there.

It's about effectiveness. If I could choose and my choice would be honored either way, I'll get what I really want. If my choices are good-but-I-need-to-get-70-million-on-board, meh-but-a-relatively-small-margin-from-winning or terrible-and-a-small-margin-from-winning then I'll vote for meh because realistically it's a choice between meh and terrible because that many people are not going to get on board with picking good, and not just good but specifically the same good I am.

Progressives would do better to essentially pull a Tea Party and change what's needed to win a primary as a Democrat, starting with a midterm (smaller turnout for midterm primaries means it's easier to actually push at least some of your people through). It'd be harder than the Tea Party though, because Dems, err, *fortify* their primaries against that sort of thing.

The ADL is a Jewish, pro-Israel pressure group. At the moment, it's the pro-Israel part that matters, as Trump is looking like a man who may allow Israel to realise its dreams of incorporating Gaza and the West Bank.

It's not a choice between meh and terrible. People keep thinking that there's a gap as far as your arms spread wide open between Trump and Harris, but that gap is as big as the distance between your thumb and index finger. That's what the rhetoric from both parties tell you, and that's what people on the left and right keep saying with hyperbole. I've asked like 3 times in the last week for people to actually show someone/party is fascist and they can't, but they keep using the rhetoric. Just stop doing that and use nuance to actually have a conversation with people instead of it being about how right you are and how horrible they are. That's the crux of the problem. Both parties are getting exactly what they want and people don't understand.

Example include r/nfl, r/hockey, r/formula 1. But not just sports, r/military banned X links too. And a slew of others.

When even sports and military fans are tired of your shit.

Conservative redditors are of course taking this graciously

Oopsie?
using advanced AI systems called Grok and Eliza.
So, Grok is the Twitter ChatGPT-analog. Eliza either means a chatbot from the 60s or the new one with the project that started last July and wasn't released officially until October. I note that he said they had access to it months beforehand thanks to Marc Andreessen, but I don't know of anything tying him to that project?

And a slew of others.
A slew is right, including many of the bigger gaming subs.

That's the problem with social media being run by companies when social media is the new "town square". As a company, they can ban anything, they can promote anything they want. This is why the government needs to run such a platform so the 1st amendment can be applied to it.
