Lately I've been feeling down, depressed, and empty. I haven't found anything to cure this, so I was wondering if you guys have any ideas or ways you get rid of that.
Cheers.

Religion works for me, also physical activity helps a lot. So today I went to church and played tennis and went bowling. So now i'm out of my funk.

Just getting out of the house and off the compy helps me tremendously.

Play some good games, that's what I do when I'm feeling down. It helps take my mind off things.

Tough one.. Go for walks. I find fresh air usually helps, especially if you're listening to music while you're walking.

How is your diet? Sometimes not eating very well can effect your mood if you're already feeling down.

.. I'm sounding a bit weird, I guess. But from personal experience, I find that going for walks, drinking tea, talking to others about it, eating well and exercising helps.

Diet is fine, I eat very healthily. My docotor actually says I'm in perfect health.

This^ eating good also helps, suprisingly, lay off the sugary junk foods and drink water...
IMO don't do crap inside, your prolly gonna get ppl saying play games etc. Go outside get some sun(also helps mood)

Challenge yourself. Finish a game you've been meaning to, read a book/series of books you haven't read yet, learn something knew like a language or origami. I have bouts of emptiness every now and again and if I can accomplish something, anything, I feel better.

Totally right I find that eating better and drinking tea is always a mood lifter. :D

Do you have any female friends? Ring one up and ask to hang out for a bit. Tell her about your problems. In my experience, talking to a female really helps you out of your funk. Works for me almost every time.

Honestly, all my methods are basically just distraction...but then, unless this is clinical depression, distraction is just as good. Then again, I usually distract myself with video games, or some other mentally challenging task (like translating the Tale of Genji into 1337).

Sadly, I'm not sure what to do about long-term (not that translating the Tale of Genji into leet wouldn't take a while). In any case, good luck with that. Hope it doesn't last long.
