I have to say, I've actually heard rumors of there being a prequal to Gears 1 at some point, maybe that's what we hear about. Though I'm hoping for Gears 3, I have to say, whatever happened to Dizzy? We know about Tai, but Dizzy just vanishes, maybe he made it and is even more crazy on the surface?

Gears does have a good story, compared to most. It's does well in staying in the mainstream, but there are hints of alternative motives, and again a hint that humans made the biggest mistake. I think Gears 3 could change overall a lot and bugger all would the sales change, fans of the game would buy it until they start seeing artwork of the rejected babykiller image from Fallout 2, but it would take "that is bad" posters to change their minds finally to stop playing, for at least a week

If it's gears, they had better not fuck up the mutiplayer. I loved the game, but gears two was a train wreck of a game on mutiplayer because if you weren't on hosts team, you got screwed over.

Then again, if it is gears three, at least I'll have an alterntive to halo reach if that turns out to be awful.

If it's unreal tournment though, then I'm screwed unless microsoft decide to allow user made mods.

2. Make the story Simple.....EXTREMELY simple to follow.
3. Focus On multi player more then anything.
4. Hype the SHIT out of it.
5. Pay off gamespot and a few other sites for good reviews.
6. Pray to Satan and sell your eternal soul.

Halo 2 and up, CoD 2-6 and soon to be 7, Gears, Final Fantasy....even though i still like them, UT.....I love em but they are all the same lol, Splinter Cell. and so on and so forth.

I am seriously tired of that happening...

Although UT never really had anything even BARELY resembling a plot did it?
I think Unreal might, but UT was always just a tournament where you kill people right?

Play Unreal. Its a must. I love that game.

Yeah it does. I never even beat the game cause its hard....and i was busy summoning Nali and Cows to kill..... But its great. Made in 98.

Ahh, I remember custom maps in UT99 with those creatures.
OT: Did you ever see a server called "Rosanne's Bums" or something similar in UT2k4 or 99 or whatever?
I was shitted so hard when they removed that.
