"Ow... Damnit! *****!... Why the hell are you calling me weak?! Do you really want me to kill you that badly? Or is this just some way for you to get your sick kicks?! I've seen 3 too many Sado-Masochists in my lifetime..."
"No, I want you to do what you can. If we're going to stop whoever did this, then I want to know everyone can take someones life if need be, even if it's mine. Now, come on, do your worst, even if it kills me." Jaime said as she fired another round at the man, not caring if it hit or not.
"Really? I can kill you if you want me to... Alright..." Jericho stood back up and raised his clawed arm again. after a few moments of hesitation, he ran at Jamie. In a matter of seconds, he had rammed his claws into her forehead, then tore them out downward towards her eyes.
Jaime's body grew limp, and her grip on the gun soon failed. Her eyes rolled back into her head, and her heart stopped. The blow had killed her. It was quite painful, and it took her nearly two seconds before she stopped feeling pain. She managed to get out one last gasp before she died, it sounded like "thank", but it was soon stopped. As the man retracted his claws from her head, Jaime's body fell to the ground, a large tare across her face.
I'll let you handle the rest when you get back online. Weather or not I get resurrected is up to you.
Jericho just stood there and stared. He wasn't proud of what he did. He wasn't proud at all. Infact, it made him feel worse... It made this feel more like... That time...
He sat on the ground and hugged his legs.
"Jaime!" Shann screamed out as she fell to the ground. "Oh you crazy fucking *****!" She ran over to her fallen friend. "God damn it! Was it really worth it?"
She looked up at the perceived killer. "You bastard. You fucking bastard! I'll kill you! I'll kill you like you killed her!" She lifted her gun and fired shots right at Jericho's head.
Jericho died, brains spattered on the floor. After a 2 second delay, all his brains returned to his mind and he now had fangs. "That won't work... I can't be killed... not by anything."
"Then why? Why did you have to kill her? I only have the one damn Phoenix Down, and I figure I might like that for myself, so why? What did that just accomplish?"
"Fuck. Fuck this place," Shann cursed as she sunk back to the stairs. "Fuck you, fuck that bastard on the loudspeaker! Fuck everything here! Fucking damn it all!"
She fired a couple more bullets into the sky before sinking back down, crying. She hadn't felt this alone and powerless since her dad died. She hated this feeling, of not being able to do anything. Now with the loss of the only person she had gotten to know in this town and the only somewhat sane person at that, she was right back at that earlier time. She didn't know what to do. She buried her head in her gun-toting hands, just feeling the tears stream from her.
"... Sorry... I just can't take it... This is the second time, the second time i've been spirited away to fight for someone's amusement. The first time I lost my mortality and I don't know what i'll lose now... I'm really sorry..." Jericho said.
Daniel watched the exchange, horrified by the violent outbursts and Jaime's death at the stranger's hand. He quickly crossed to Shann's side and sat down beside her, thinking of ways to comfort her in any way possible.
"Sorry? Sorry?!? Sorry doesn't get us the fuck out of here! If this is your second time, you should fucking know that! I would think working together would be a better path to take to do that, not clawing each other's guts, or shoving lightning up everyone's ass like an 8 year old with a fucking Thundara spell! Fuck!"
I probably should have warned people Shann's got a mouth like a sailor on her.
Also, I remembered she doesn't know what tasers are...
Jericho didn't like what he was hearing. "Y'know what? I asked for a little peace, some time to compose myself, but no, so now i'm just gonna make you go away!" Jericho stood up and walked over to Jamie. Horrifying images of monsterous jaws appeared all behind him as a dark aura surrounded him. "If you value your life you'll leave me be for a while!"
"Then why don't you just get away from here, and leave us alone for a while," Daniel answered, flinching at Jericho's display. "That way you're happy and we don't all have to get up and go. Clearly Shann needs some time... for what, I don't know. I've never had to deal with this sort of thing before... but I believe you should be the one to leave."
"No. I'm sick and tired of obeying others." Daniel stood up and faced Jericho with less fear than he felt before, drawing confidence from somewhere inside himself. "You are the one who should leave us. I will ensure that Shann doesn't follow. You lost any right you may have had to tell us what to do when you... killed Jaime. Murderer."
"You have no fucking right to order me around gamer nerd, but fine. Step one foot closer to me and i'll kill you both." Jericho said. The images behind him disappeared and he walked into another alleyway, but before he was completly out of sight, he turned his head and gave Daniel one more look, before walking the rest of the way.
"I never said I had the right to. It was the best course of action," Daniel answered empty air, disregarding the look from the alleyway. He turned back to Shann and sat back down beside her. "Shann... I need you to listen to me." He wasn't the best at comforting people, particularly people who were mere acquaintances rather than friends.
"I know what it's like to lose someone..." he started, hoping she would listen.
Jericho continued to walk. What do any of them know about me? What do any of them know about what I went through? Getting shunned by the entire world because of appearences and jealousy and forced to live a life of exile for all eternity while your only friends are either dead or looking for you can be worse than having your word destroyed. And that stupid gamer nerd. What the hell does he know about anything? What gives him the right to order me around?! It's my damn life! I only asked for a few moments of peace! Damnit! And she even asked me to kill her! GAH! DAMNIT! ...Just calm down... You'll never win when you're out of control... Just find a nice, quiet area... Jericho walked out into a small patch of forest that was in the center of the city as a park. He found a grove that was uninhabited and sat down. A small, relaxing zen garden appeared around him. The sound of rushing water calmin his nerves. He sat and tried to compose himself.
