Episode 3 has been implied since the release of Episode 2. Either Episode 3 or a third Half Life. I know it'll be done when it's done but it's kind of old news at this point that it's in development.

Is this really news though? or at least surprising? I mean, they said they were going to do a three episode release, itd be weird if they only stopped after two.

I was excited for HL2EP3 in 2006 when they said it would be coming out in A YEAR. EP1-6mos-EP2-6mos-EP3... just like that.
Well, now I have a wife, a kid, a law degree, a job, a house, and Minecraft. I occasionally think back on my time with the Black Mesa East crew, but honestly I've moved on.
If it comes out, which I suspect it will eventually, I will probably get it. However, these little teases and hints no longer have any effect on me.

At this point, I'm not excited for Episode 3 as much as I am angry that it's taken almost a decade to release a third of a game. Wasn't episodic content supposed to reduce development time? Valve needs someone to help them get their shit together. Say what you will about EA or Activision; they at least keep deadlines.
