A person (married mother of two)wakes up one day having a interesting dream about a vampire/human relationship. She then decides to write a book about it as she wanted to descover how these characters in her dream would work things out. Badabing there you have the Twilight saga.
Now this is what bothers me about most reviews and particurly this one. Vampires must be singular and and in no way deviate from how "we" (the male sex) defines it should be.
I might be wrong, but when was being creative about anything a bad thing? I mean, I thought the changes made to vampires in the Twilight saga was clever and explained many of the 'lore' of vampires. Another thing I thought was a interesting twist was to make a group of vamps that did not conform to the way vamps are "supposed" to be.
And the sex thing. Does it not make sense that a person who obstains from his very nature for more then a hundred years would be patient enough to wait for marriage?
Anyway, here is a quick fact from a survey done in the US a couple of years ago:
More than 70% of criminals in the US come from homes where the father was absent.
Sex before marriage is working out great right!
