The weekend was awesome.

The Pub was a great visit on the first day. We basically talked about Sci-Fi for two hours over pints.

The Saturday was great for me since, while everyone went paint-balling I met up with a friend of mine. She was great fun to be with

I met a lot of guys with like-minded opinions. The food was great. The banter endless. Same time, next year!

Wow, I would love to go...except for the simple fact that I live in America, when are we going to have a Escapism US? I'm to damn poor to buy tickets to go to the UK.

That weekend was so much fun. We need more people for next year, so we can take over a hostel, and get a massive paintball game going, at seperate times.

Why seperate times? Until you said that it sounded like the best weekend ever.

First we take the hostel, then the paintball in the hostel. To do both at the same time, while possible, would be quite frankly more difficult, and I am extremely lazy.

It could still be the best weekend ever tough, if we do that, get drunk, then wake up in a foreign country, and take a long journey home in which we meet a some interesting characters, and learn a number of important lessons about life.

It has to include a boat ride for it to be worth it.

Possibly two people who hate each other at te start of the trip should slowly start to realise that the other isn't so bad, and should finally fall in love on the boat. The next escapism is starting to sound like the best trip ever.

Don't forget the £1 you and Capt.Obvious were fishing for as the tube train arrived. We practically had to drag you two on to the train to stop you missing it. ;p

If we do it again next year, hopefully there'll be some more old gits around so I can come along. No offence to y'all but I'd feel a bit awkward and out of place hanging around with a bunch of teenagers.

I was the only old git this year. When you've got a few beers down you it doesn't matter how old you are.

I second this person, London scares the shit out of me.

It also costs a lot to get there. Do it in Newcastle or something for us more northernly folk next year. There's a massive shopping centre there so it could be fun?

I kid, I kid. It was a really cool (if really fucking exhausting) weekend, and I hope to do it again next year.

But then Captain Obvious(the one of our group most like the thing) would have to speak in a crap new yowk accent and shout 'Its clobbering time!' every five seconds. that would get very annoying on a train lol.
