I only don't like people who are blatantly here to piss people off. Other than that, I'm usually fine.

Erm, I scan a newbie's post carefully to see if I approve of them, but that's not discrimination, that's prejudice.

Yeah, I know I shouldn't, but I like to think I was pretty well in keeping with the rules when I first joined.

Although I'm sure I have 0 respect points simply due to that to many people.
Besides, if everyone cared about high post counts, forums would thoroughly suck
due to everyone posting short, meaningless answers in order to bump up their respect lvl.

ahhh, the old "rule of the post count": Law of the Post Count - an unwritten internet law that states that the likelihood of a poster being moderated, regardless of the merits or otherwise of their post, is inversely proportional to their relative post count. The Law also states that the truthiness of any post is directly proportional to the post count of its creator.

now tell me if a 5k poster simply puts "Gravity is a lie" that some people will think he's right, after all, we all know that its actually Intelligent Falling that causes claims of gravity.

That's not what I meant.
I'm not saying it makes people more believable, it makes them more popular. And liked.
Because they have a high post count.

I think that the post count and badge stuff does hold some merit. I mean if someone has like a thousand posts, he has been a constant member of the community, and has also contributed to it.

The badge thing is better, if someone has, say a Morpheus badge, that means that he has a thousand posts and he hasn't got into trouble for them

Tons and tons of discrimination.

For instance no matter how often I send them naked pictures of myself they still won't hire me on so that I can chat in that watercooler dealy. Complete and utter discrimination.
