Also some people have there own unfunny meme's here, which brings me to Furburt I'm afraid. Something that is technically not his fault, but his crew are the perpetrators.

We have a few among ourselves. The Basement, funnest. The Asylum and PRIATE groups have got at least 50 in jokes between them.

I request that you and your boys stop constantly going on about PRIATE please, its just a user group and you don't get other people constantly going on about there groups on the forums.

I'll admit I do find it annoying, because lately, its just been "yeah i'm here because of PRIATE"... no your not buddy, your not on the forums because of PRIATE, thats a user group... not a forum. So please keep user groups to user groups.

Otherwise I'll stomp your face with a Pretty Pink Pony and a Furries, then you'll realise the error of your ways.

It's a user group, it's part of this site, and I only speak about it when it's relevant. Such

as now, the OP asked whether there were any memes on this site, I said there were a few, but

that groups like Asylum and PRIATE have the majority of in jokes.

If it really bothers you that much, then..ignore me, if you need, because I'm not going to

stop, I don't see why I should.

And anyway, ignoring you would be counter productive wouldn't it, since your not the perp like I said in my earlier comment and ignoring you wouldn't stop "PRIATE" at any given chance.

Now the user groups are part of the site, but they were created to be seperate from the

forums and the excessive bleeding thats happening from PRIATE is getting a bit silly, remember that what is happening is actually alienating some newbies, you'll just have to trust me on this, its how forums work, it creates an "us and them" attitude.

By all means give a shout out to PRIATE when appropiate, but like the Thread about The Avatar Store I mentioned, its about the avatar store, not PRIATE, so would you ask the PRIATE crew to knock that sort of hijack off.

Well, I don't actually run PRIATE or anything, so I don't have any influence on what they do. If you do want them to stop it, I'd suggest PMing the people who are doing it, because I don't have any authority over them.

OT: I don't know of any big memes from The Escapist, but there are certainly some inside jokes. Like the Basement. I'm still trying to figure that one out. Does anybody actually know?

I'm not saying they aren't awesome, I'm saying the bleeding from user groups to forums is getting tiresome from the PRIATE group, especially the PRIATE group. You'll go into a forum thread and suddenly someone shouts "YEAH THE PRIATES LIKE THIS GAME", or from the other day "I came for ZP and then stayed for the community, especially PRIATE".

Thats just fucking excessive, I'm glad they have made friends, but we don't need to know about it every time we open a thread.

Go join that user group by all means, but user groups are meant to be seperate from the forum, part of the community yes, but not everyone wants to know about every single user group at every single waking momemt, if we did we WOULD BE PART OF THAT USER GROUP, its why people don't join such a user group because they have no interest.

Seriously, think about how if everytime a thread was about "What bought you to the Escapist" and I answered "well I came here for ZP, then the community, then I got Furry friends and we told everyone on the forum that we are Furries". You'd all be up in arms!

Anyways, I can see your point, but unless you bring it to the attention of Sassafrass, like Furburt suggested, or a site moderator, then I doubt anything will happen in the way of getting people to stop.
